According to leaked papers the PLA and PLAN are also testing the HQ-8, HQ-9B, HQ-19, HQ-26, and HQ-29, with two of them entering service in 2015 approximately.

The reason why everybody is not using them is that they are extremely expensive. Compare price of Buk and S-400 systems for example. Also ships with long range systems have short range systems as well usually.

Our current inventory is 30 odd mig-29ks.first deal completed by early 2012.In 2012 second batch 4 delivered.in 2013 7 more.In 2014 not known.
