LAHORE: Some 325 Sikh yatrees arrived here on Sunday via Wagah border to observe the martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Dev Jee.

Additional Secretary Shrine Khalid Ali, Sardar Sham Singh and officials of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) received the yatrees warmly at Wahga. Speaking on the occasion, group leader Hardev Singh appreciated arrangements made by the government of Pakistan for Sikh Yatrees. Soon after their arrival, the yatrees left for Gurudawara Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib, where they will stay for a day and perform their ritual.

They will also visit Gurdawara Sacha Sauda, Farooqabad, on June 10 and they would leave for Gurudawara Panja Sahib, Hasanabdal, on June 11 by a train where they would stay for three days. On June 13, Sikh yatrees will reach Gurdawara Dera Sahib here and perform rituals. They will observe the martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Dev Jee on June 16 and perform their special rituals. Special arrangements for food, residence and security had been made for the guests. They will leave for their homeland on June 17.

10 day trip to Pakistan is too long. Let's pray they will comeback safely without any issues.

welcome to all Sikh friends; may you have a fully satisfactory and enjoyable visit and occasion in Nankana

I am sure they will feel it is too less for them as they have always complained :-)

In reality, they might be hardly living within 100 kms from their Home to the location where they are now in Pakistan.. Correct?

for that you need to ask each and every one of them from which areas in india they are coming from. Sikhs from all over india visit Pakistan. There were interviews with Sikhs from UP and Maharashtra etc.

a 100 kms radius from Nankana would cover only parts of Amritsar, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur districts

silly question, and a lengthy unnecessarily verbatim answer:p:
