Obviously they use which ever method is most convenient to transport in containers (or did it come by air?).

You can remove the tail section and put it inside the helicopter.

Jokes aside, Much simpler and faster to transport by air. China has pretty good air transport planes.

I'm sure there was already some Chinese AF Transport making it's way to Pakistan.

The Chinese Pilot got training, Chinese crew in taking their helicopter apart, and the ground crew putting the helicopter into the plane.

The Chinese Military does need economies of scale. Not for their poor 'Brother'.

Transportation, the size of the transporter is not large enough to hold the WZ10 in one piece.

Don't apply American ideology on Chinese, you never understand that.

No country gives anyone something for free. Although Pakistan is getting such free weapons for long time though specially from US, China and KSA.

For example JF-17s were made taking loans from China and later China said Pakistan need not to repay the loan.

After that its long list of US free weapons.

China gifted 3 more choppers and one person saying thats because of friendship, I said there is no friendship in between countries, its in China's interest to arm Pakistan just like US did. Now whats wrong there? Tell me.

China is investing in our future. They could have given us 4 ready to use platforms but this additional manufacturing/assembling knowing is price-less. Would we not want to produce an attack-helicopter ourselves and progress along the road of self-reliance? Would this not be a first step in that direction?

Some of us are believing that china is looking for a business opportunity by selling us these helicopters? Consider this

• Z-10s are their top of the line helicopters and they don't have an export model thus far. They are trusting us for a technology which they will be pitching against their enemies. That speaks volumes of trust they have upon us and we better take that with respect.
• How many would we buy? Looking at the volume of China's economy, 500-700 odd millions are peanuts for them. Infect risk they are taking is far more expensive than the money you could get them in return. If they are selling their prime helicopter - you better find a justifiable reason for that as "money story" doesn't convince.
• Theory that China wants to test them and get battlefield data makes sense but if that was their only objective, they would've sold them to any country who is doing operations against terrorists. Even Chinese pilots could have flown them to collect battlefield experience and targeted boko-haram terrorists. But here they are willing to give you all the knowledge and platform know-how you would need in your future conflicts.

We should receive China's cooperation with us with less skepticism. China is a friend, an established power, a trusted ally, a progress partner and a better friend than we would've asked for. We just need to be bit more thankful for their sincere contribution than we are.

You see that's the thing you don't understand about how Chinese operate.
Where as US may be there, when they need you.
Chinese wouldn't feed you with Fish, if you are hungry, rather they will teach you how to catch one......so you never go hungry. That's the difference and that's how Chinese foreign policy has been so successful.
