Pakistan,s education score heat map

GOP allocated 2% for education, when the minimum should be around 5 to 7%. The priorities of our politicians are not health or education but perpetuation of ignorance. I must also ask what do we consider as "Literate" or "Educated", the minimum requirement.

Green color also represents the following

a. lack of feudal control,
b. Availability of water and good weather.
c. Distance from Afghanistan.

Lastly, one must look deep at the numbers, since Balochistan's total population is less than a district's population in Punjab or Sindh; they that number would always be low.

C is non applicable to Sindh, but yes the existence of feudal system is one of the key ingredients of the backwardness of rural Sindh.

Easier said than done Tribal people don't want schools in their regions

when a person has no knowledge of an area he better not pass judgement on it. i can be more harsher then this but i won't. i would simply say that nobody has ever done any serious efforts to develop Tribal areas since independence.

Convince them. Propagate awareness. They will understand and except the education.

our rulers have 50 billions for a fency METRO in islamabad but don't have even 1 billion to build universities in those neglected areas and then they blame tribals for it.

Baat to apki bhe theek hay but why are schools blown up in tribal areas and not in impoverished regions like tharparkar or rajanpur clearly poverty is not the only reason

schools are blown up by talibans not by tribals and the locations of those schools are spread out infect a lot of those schools are located outside the tribal region. if tribals didn't want them they wouldn't have let them built those schools in first place. infect a lot of those blown up schools were private built by tribals for tribals. there is hardly any signs of government schools in tribal areas.

The problem is not just school availability, its about their parents having enough money to support the family so their kids can go to school.

Job creation is the issue. There is a problem when wealthy are taking $4 billion to UAE to invest in property market. Need to start more businesses and expand them.
