Ouch!!!! deflecting now are we??? You have yet to answer my post# 106

Secondly as to your question, you and your fellow brethren, are clueless as to what goes on in the real world. Lets keep it that way!!
You mean the real world where a force suffers casualties in artillery duels, counter insurgency, - which apparently is incompetence.
For sure we know which world you live in.

.
Incompetence ...
knowing that your professional organisation has neither gone to war, neither have fought insurgency, nor have had any conflict theaters, I don't think you even know what you are talking about.
Come back when you have some substance to post, other than cheerleading for terrorists.

Seems like you are done supporting IA, and have now stooped to personal insults. Not good Mr.Armchair General.

Btw it's funny that this is crap coming from someone who can't even handle a 0.45, because of his fragile wrists!!

Tch Tch Tch uff how sad!!

Deflecting- I am cool with whatever you want to hail these terrorist as, i made it quite clear in the first post I made. You are the one who wanted to delfect about the conduct of Indian forces with straw man arguments. Don't pretend to know what challenges Indian military has to face coming from a force that barely is the size of a single corp of the Indian army.

isn't it a fact? how is it a personal insult. Your conduct here clearly shows you are cheering for terrorist. the fact remain you are not in a professional setting to understand the challenges of the large scale deployments or counter insurgency.

Is it not?

Incompetence is when one corrupt army, driven by Bravado, chest thumps like an idiot, drives up to the border, huffs & puffs, gets its own soldiers, nearly 2,000 of them, killed, AND THEN goes back.

Leaving the world wondering how stupid can one get?

India suffered 1,874 casualties without fighting a war - The Times of India

These were "Allegedly" terrorists. The word here is "Alleged." Since IA, because of cases like these, has ZERO credibility!!

can you read?
read the article, and then come back.
Yes I read, but your jingoism is blinding you as usual!!!

1) Without going to war
2) Falling over themselves
3) Clueless how to mobilize
4) Unprofessional
5) Not fit for combat
6) High casualty without the enemy firing a bullet - 1,874 i.e. ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED and SEVENTY FOUR.
7) Piss poor training
8) Best not to go to war!!

NEW DELHI: The life of an Indian Army soldier comes cheap. The US-led coalition forces lost just around 150 personnel during the recent Iraq operations. In sharp contrast, and without going to war, almost 2,000 Indian Army soldiers were killed or wounded during the 10-month forward deployment along the Indo-Pak border last year.

"What else do you expect? We have to soldier on without even basic necessities like decent helmets, proper webbing or bullet-proof jackets. Many accidents during the mobilisation were due to the poor quality of mines and fuses," retorted an angry young Major.

Usually extremely tight-lipped about casualty figures, the defence ministry had to disclose them in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday in response to a question.

Piss poor reading
if you cared to scroll to the rest of the article you would realize how badly the same article refutes your point.

"The number of Army personnel killed or wounded in Jammu and Kashmir and the western sector during the mobilisation, Operation Parakram, from December 19, 2001 to October 16, 2002, was 1,874," said Defence Minister George Fernandes.

This, by any benchmark, is a truly staggering figure for a 10-month period, even if the counter-insurgency operations in Jammu and Kashmir are taken into account.

In the initial phase of Operation Parakram itself, after the December 2001 Parliament attack, over 100 soldiers were killed and 250 injured during mine-laying operations. Vehicle accidents, artillery duels with Pakistan and other incidents led to many more casualties.

Relentless counter-insurgency operations in Jammu and Kashmir are also, of course, exacting a heavy toll on the soldiers, with over 1,000 being killed in terrorist activity in the last three years.

The government, however, continues to sleep. Battling extremely well-equipped terrorists, soldiers face a crippling shortage of bullet-proof jackets, night-vision devices, communication sets, sensors and other equipment which can make their gruelling jobs much easier.

Take bullet-proof jackets, for instance. Only 1.24 lakh jackets are available when 3.53 lakh jackets are required for troops operating in counter-insurgency duties and along the Line of Control.

"Sometimes, our jawans are reduced to swiping bullet-proof jackets and assault rifles from slain terrorists for personal use. The bullet-proof jackets provided to us are bulky and restrict mobility," said an officer, who has done stints in the Valley.

Seems you are very poor at maths. Off the 1,874 killed you have only accounted for 100. What happened to the other 1,784? Did the commit suicide like the following:
