MUMBAI: The comedy group All India Bakchod (AIB), which had last year found itself at the centre of a controversy for its promoter Tanmay Bhat's "roast" on cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and singer Lata Mangeshkar, has just landed itself in trouble again.

The Mumbai Police Cyber Cell on Friday registered an FIR against the comedy group after it tweeted a post on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After AIB tweeted on Wednesday a meme about the PM by using the Snapchat dog filter, a Twitter user, Reetesh Maheshwari, wrote to the Mumbai police handle, calling the meme an "obnoxious prank" which ought to invite a legal action.

Maheshwari also wrote on the handle of the Mumbai police commissioner: "Pradhan Mantri ke liye is taike ka behuda Mazak par @AllIndiaBakchod and @thetanmay par sakt karwayi hona chahiye." AIB later removed the tweet with the meme on the PM.

Bhat, a co-founder of AIB, defended the meme in a post on the group's website and also took to Twitter to make his case, complaining about what he called "the lack of rational reasoning."

Mumbai police had last year also received several complaints about the use of abusive language in an AIB show held in the city.

A court directed the police to file FIRs against the show's organisers and prominent participants, citing violation of the Indian Penal Code sections dealing with conspiracy and obscenity. An FIR was filed against 14 persons in Pune as well.

A WhatsApp group admin in Karnataka was arrested on charges of sharing obscene content about the PM

BENGALURU: A WhatsApp group in Karnataka that calls itself "Balse Boys" is in trouble over allegedly morphed pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi being posted on it. Two members have been arrested and the police are looking for another member, allegedly on the charge of sharing obscene content.

Krishna Sanna Thamma Naik, 30, the administrator of the group, has been arrested. Mr Naik is an autorickshaw driver.

On April 14, a complaint went to the police against the group from a man called Anand Manunath Naik. He alleged the Prime Minister's photo had been morphed to make it look "obscene and ugly", according to a police officer.

Two days later, a member, Ganesh, was called to the police station for questioning. He was arrested and let off on bail. Krishna Sanna Thamma Naik was arrested next. The police are reportedly looking for another group member, Balakrishna.

The group has been formed by men living in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka.

This is the first time that a WhatsApp group administrator has been arrested for objectionable content on a group.

Recently, a government order in Varanasi, PM Modi's constituency in Uttar Pradesh, said a rumour, a fake news story or videos deemed offensive posted on a WhatsApp group can land the administrator in jail. The Varanasi administration said it was responding to concerns over the misuse of social media to publish fake news, morphed photographs and videos with fabricated narratives that can trigger tension.

Social media platforms allow users to create a group on which members can share views, photographs or videos. A Delhi High Court order in December had ruled that admins cannot be held liable for content posted by any other member of the group.

"Surgical strikes doubters are traitors"

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday said that those raising doubts over Army's surgical strikes are "traitors".

"Indian soldiers carried out surgical strikes in Azad Kashmir by risking their lives for the nation. Those who doubt the commitment of the Army are Jaichand (a symbol of treachery in Indian folklore)," Chouhan tweeted a day after a political slugfest erupted over the Indian assault across the LoC. Without naming the opposition leaders, Chouhan requested the "traitors" not to politicise matters related to Army action against the nation's enemies. "After the attack in Uri, our brave soldiers destroyed several terror launch pads across the LoC. They risked their lives for the nation's defence and the country is proud of them," Chouhan added.

BJP state chief Nandkumar Singh also criticized those questioning the authenticity of the strikes, saying, "Those raising doubts over the Indian Army are committing a sin. There is no need to respond to such irresponsible comments and demands."

Row over BJP MLA's remark

BJP MLA from Huzur, Rameshwar Sharma, stooped to a new low while attacking those questioning the veracity of the Army's surgical strikes in Azad Kashmir. Sharma said that those who don't believe the Army "are the kind people who would even ask proof of their conception from their parents". "The Army has been sacrificing life and blood for the nation and those who don't believe in them are traitors. They all are Pakistani agents. Their language and tone matches that of Nawaz Sharif," said Sharma.

Congress condemned Sharma for his controversial remarks. The party said, "He has always been playing dirty politics and his statements show how low BJP leaders can stoop to against their political rivals.

I've shown him mirror

Don't worry, they will comeback with another shit after all they have lack of toilets and they need some place to throw.

actually no. IAF trains its pilots real hard, they fly and train much more than the PAF pilots and even other advanced AFs. This is one of the reasons for maintainence issues- we push out airframes way harder than what the Russians originally deisgned them for. PAF planes are inside the hangars. Your pilots don't fly much because it costs too much in fuel and also costs too much in terms of maintainence.

That's why yu should economize. Say shut down one wing of your armed forces..... :D
yes your pilots are so much highly trained that whenever they have to encounter enemy instead of engaging in a fight they decide to land in nearby enemy air field

you lost like half your country and then it became clear that your establishment, including your forces had been lying to you, I wonder how people like you and @Windjammer can frequently quote materials/ videos of pilots etc. when clearly you should consider them also highly suspect.

Pakistan have very limited resources and fund for missile program that,s why our scientist is working very carefully and achieve the goal successfully.
Pakistani technology is very advanced than India, your chief of army staff accept it 3 days before.
IMO India lacks Bereket factor; otherwise, their folks are no less smart....

I see how you conveniently tried to change topic
the truth is that Indian Pilots are most pathetic in the world they are disgrace to aviation
and as far as Pakistani pilots are concerned well you can read it below

Pakistani Air Force has won every encounter against the Indian Air Force

Indian resources have naturally refuted and denied PAF air superiority over the FIVE times larger IAF in the 65 and 71 wars. Indian and Pakistani claims and counter claims are pointless on this subject as they tend to be biased and blurred with nationalism. The only way to assess this is through the neutral and qualified international opinion, which has now become aviation history. Check out autobiography of Gen. Chuck Yeagers (yes, the one who broke the sound barrier), who 'refereed' the 1971 war and flew up and down the region collecting wreckage of IAF aircraft shot down by the PAF. Here is what he says, "the Pakistanis scored a three-to-one kill ratio knocking out 102 Indian jets and losing 34 of their own. I am certain about the figures because I went out several times a day in a chopper and counted the wrecks below. I counted wrecks, documented them by serial numbers, identified the components such as engines and rocket pods" Now he is not exactly a Pakistani, is he?

Check out the following world reputed aviation journals.

USA - Aviation week & space technology - December 1968 issue.
"For the PAF, the 1965 war was as climatic as the Israeli victory over the Arabs in 1967. A further similarity was that Indian air power had an approximately 5:1 numerical superiority at the start of the conflict. Unlike the Middle East conflict, the Pakistani air victory was achieved to a large degree by air-to-air combat rather than on ground. But it was as absolute as that attained by Israel.

UK - Air International - November - 1991
" the average PAF pilot is almost certainly possessed of superior skills when compared with, say, an average American pilot. As to those who are rated above average, they compare favourably to the very best "

Encyclopaedia of Aircraft printed in several countries by Orbis publications - Volume 5

"Pakistan's air force gained a remarkable victory over India in this brief 22 day war exploiting its opponents weaknesses in exemplary style - Deeply shaken by reverse, India began an extensive modernisation and training program, meanwhile covering its defeat with effective propaganda smoke screen.

If you feel more at ease with German and French, then also checkout the followings
Air Action (France) December 1988 and January 1989
Flugzeug (Germany) February (2) 1989
Read the book 'Battle for Pakistan' written by John Fricker a British. It is a neutral
In addition to this, PAF put on show for inspection, its entire fleets after BOTH of the wars in presence of world dignitaries and aviation community. The five times bigger IAF should have annihilated the tiny PAF to prevent such displays!!!!!!
Now these are FACTS - what rides on a wave of nationalism is just fiction.

Pakistani Air Force has won every encounter against the Indian Air Force

Akash missiles, aimed at taking-down Chinese fighters in eastern sector, not installed: CAG
Indigenously built Akash, surface-to-air missiles (SAM) that were to be positioned in the vulnerable Siliguri corridor (also referred to as the Chicken's neck) to take-down incoming Chinese Air Force fighters, have not been installed, the Comptroller Auditor General of India (CAG) has observed.
What is worse, at least 30 per cent of the missiles supplied to the IAF have been found to be faulty.
The stand-off at Doklam in Bhutan between Indian and Chinese troops is a few kilometres away from the Siliguri Corridor. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval met his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi on the sidelines of the BRICS NSAs meeting in Beijing.
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CAG REPORT
  1. The CAG calls the missiles "strategic" and says "the missile systems were to be installed at six designated sites between 2013 and 2015". But till date, none of the missiles systems have been installed. The CAG report was placed before the Parliament today.
  2. The total cost of the project was about Rs 3,900 crore, out of which the IAF has already paid Rs 3,800 crore.
  3. The IAF was to deploy six Akash missile squadrons east to counter China's build-up of military infrastructure all along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). China has eight fully-operational airbases in Tibet.
  4. And, that isn't all. The CAG report says that about 30 per cent of "strategic missiles" made by BEL - a defence public sector unit - failed when they were test-fired. "The larger issue is that 30 per cent failure rate of the sample tested puts a question mark on the reliability, based on which 95 per cent of the payment was already done", the CAG said.
  5. Even worse, the CAG has observed that a life-span of at least 70 missiles was reduced by more than three years because there was no storage facility available. Each Akash missile costs a few hundred crores.
  6. The life-span of other 150 missiles was diminished by at least "two to three" years and that of another 40-odd missiles by at least a "year or two years". The Akash missiles, which have a range of about 25 km, have a lifespan of about 10 years "from the manufacturing date" and they need to be stored under controlled conditions.
  7. "Due to delay in the creation of prescribed storage rooms, all the missiles received during April 2014 to May 2016 were kept at alternate facilities that lacked the required storage conditions", the CAG report says and adds that at least 71 missiles were affected by "moisture."
  8. The then UPA government cleared the deployment of Akash missiles in 2010 in the Siliguri corridor as Indian changed its China policy from "dissuasive to deterrence".
  9. After the 1962 debacle, India followed a policy of dissuasion against China. Areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) were deliberately left under-developed, roads weren't built to dissuade China from going on the offensive.
  10. But as China added to border infrastructure, and added troops and muscle to its military, India moved to a posture of deterrence, positioning troops, fighters, along the border.

Why am I not surprised.. another lemon from Indian inefficient defence stables...sigh..

Arkadashim, they don't lack in talent or efforts, they lack in Bereket!!! As for the Ehl-i Iman, a single act of Hosh Amel, done with Iman and Ihlas, has a thousand Bereket in it!!!! Whatever progresses, no matter how much sporadic, we see in Turkey or Pak is due to that Bereket factor!!! Moreover, Muslim folks produce the best results when they're in the most desperate situation with a zero margin of error!!!! During the Cyprus campaign in 1974, TuAF could manage to send only a couple of sorties to neutralize the Greek long range artillery batteries before the amphibious assault. It was a do-or-die situation. And, it worked so well that the Turkish forces could take almost half of the island without any resolute resistance. Had it not been the US/NATO pressure, they could have taken the whole island if 6 more hours of ops were permitted!!!! I think Pak is also full of such recent examples!!!!

Muslim folks produce the best results when they're in the most desperate situation with a zero margin of error
My you are ignorant. Being muslim doesn't mean you are superior to any person. The success of Turkey is Turkish. Not Muslim. But if you want to believe a Muslim is superior to others, which is what you are implying than you sir are not far from signing up for ISIS. What you need to do is talk to your peers from Christiandom, and Hindutva movement.
