What's new

2nd U.S. carrier strike group steaming towards Persian Gulf

This may not sound good off course Iran is losing lots of revenue but they need to think to diversify the economy

Maybe this is a good time to not rely on oil

Definitely they can’t close the oil revenue budget but at least bring other products to the top in these tough times

Iran has plentiful of other resources

India and China and Russia is still importing oil

It’s the bloody scared to death Europeans who follow US

Europe didn’t want to follow US but have no choice because they are scared of US

Yes, no one in Europe can be counted on....especially the UK, they're always in the U.S.'s pocket. Germany and France sometime will go against the U.S. but not very often.

Iran needs to sell oil to cover its budget. Iran is not complaining of oil embargo because it cannot buy medicine, food, etc. While that has become more difficult, it is not the reason why Iran is acting out.

Iran needs hard currency to support its budget and government operations. INSTEX is a joke with a several million dollar euro credit line.

Before sanctions Iran was exporting up to 2.5MBPD. Even assuming Iran sold it for $50 a barrel that is 3.5-4.0 BILLION Dollars a month in potential lost revenue if oil exports go to zero.

So this China news while positive is a drop in the bucket for Iran, especially if it gets no currency from it and becomes a debt payoff structure.
Well that is exactly what Iran should not do.

I understand what you are talking about but internal budget and foreign income are two separate things. Iran's budget is in Rials and in a balanced economy, the major source for Iran's government income to pay for its budget should be tax income.

Now the only way for the foreign earned cash to help the budget is to sell that foreign currency in local market to Iranian people to earn Rials which is not a good policy as it will alter the exchange rate in favor of the local currency and in turn promote imports. That is why Norway never sells even a single dime of its petrodollar in local market. They just invest it.

Bartering on the other hand doesn't have this effect. So overall, I think it is a good thing as it will help Iran get itself rid of reliance on petrodollar.

For those who thought U.S dares to challenge Iran.

U.S aircraft carrier never entered the Persian gulf and their station in Bahrain where Americans have built lots of infrastructure to host their personnel, Now their carrier has been parked in the Oman shores, according to gen. Hajizadeh American soldiers have to spend their time in a desert which has no infrastructure to host them.
lol, monitoring online activities of these soldiers shows that they are cursing their leaders on daily basis!

How likely is the possibility of a military conflict between Iran and the US? – Nader Talebzadeh

The Iran rhetoric is heating up. As always the best way to fight Israel is in the papers....the PR defense is the only thing they are afraid of...look at their reaction with only one Pro Iran news story in a major paper...the funny thing it's not even Pro iran....it's just facts

Israel's greatest power is its influence over the Americas, European and Russian media. They are horrified of BDS movement.
