The 1st ship of the same class was launched exactly one month ago on 26.08.2012 at the same shipyard in Wuhan，China。

Both ships are expected to be delivered to BN by the end of the year。

most probably getting 2 second hand type 053H2 (Jianghu-III) frigates. Not sure when, but the talks to acquire took place in june 2012

They are just coastal patrol crafts, not large patrol crafts for sure(some also claim it may be a missile boat but i doubt it) . Here are some pics, this is what the craft is supposed to look like

The specs hasnt been officially released yet, thus we dont know the specific weapons fitted on the ship.

But here is a quote from a newspaper report

I think that our LPC has at least 4 units of anti-ship missile. It might be cause of the angle of the picture that we are only seeing 2 units of missile.

Yup, its confirmed that it has only 4 anti ship missiles(C-704)
