Note. I changed data for TuAF 240 F-16C + 30 F-16C block 50+. Neptunes data is not reasonable. On the other hand I counted Turkish F-16C as 1.1 vs air to air and 1.05 vs. air to ground, because they were upgraded compare to regular F-16C.

Last Block 50+ F-16 delivered by TAI as part of Peace Onyx IV Program :: F-16.net

I have query you counted PAF F-16 older as Block A/B or as MLUed one. bec after MLU they will be equal to Block 50+ with Aim-120C5. thanks

***** please only 50 jf-17s for PAF

Just WOW. Thanks for the list. I bet it was hard work. And its more or less a realictic picture.

I have doubts about where you placed India, Israel, and Turkey.

And seriously, France and the UK below Taiwan? India 4th? Israel 5th!?

Hard to believe. A good list nonetheless.

UK has only 100 Typhoons which can be used as fighters

And 112 Panavia Tornado...

Israel has over 400 F-16 and F-15 (all modified with Python 4/5)

Only 25 of which are F-15E types, and 100-110 of the F-16's are outdated A/B models.

Also, have you assessed the quality of India's Mig-29's?

And 112 Panavia Tornado...
They are IDS model with very limited air to air.

Only 25 of which are F-15E types, and 100-110 of the F-16's are outdated A/B models.
Still Israel has 3 times more fighters which can be used in BVR and F-16A can be used in ambush/base defence. These guys are light and very agile.

Also, have you assessed the quality of India's Mig-29's?
F-16C = 1/1
Mig-29 = 0.9/0.5

They are IDS model with very limited air to air.

So this is only for fighter aircraft then??

3x more fighters compared to whom? BTW, did you get all of this info from one source or a collection of them?

F-16C = 1/1
Mig-29 = 0.9/0.5

Why do they have two ratings for each of them?

So this is only for fighter aircraft then??
No, I count both, although air to air has priority, because without achieving air superiority u cant really bomb.

3x more fighters compared to whom?
Compare to UK. UK has 100 BVR fighters, Israel - 300.

BTW, did you get all of this info from one source or a collection of them?
Mainly Wikipedia + Flight International world air force report.

Why do they have two ratings for each of them?
First number is air to air second air to ground. Check first post.

Israel has very big number of planes of different varieties :enjoy:

I was bored and decided to estimate airforces strength. I wrote down the list of active aircrafts for each air force and then counted score.

Here is method I used. F-16C I used as base: 1 air-air point/1 air to ground point. For other aircrafts my estimates are follow:

F-16C = 1/1
F-16A = 0.8/0.8
F-16 block 52+ aka F-16I = 1.1/1.2
F-16 block 60 = 1.3/1.2
F-15A = 1.2/0.5
F-15C = 1.3/0.5
F-15E = 1.4/1.5
F-15S = 1.3/1.4
F-15SG = 1.5/1.5
F-18A = 1/1.1
F-18F = 1.3/1.3
F-2 = 1.3/1.2
F-16AM = 1/08
Mirage 2000 = 1/1
Typhoon (MESA radar) = 1.3/1.1
Rafale (PESA radar) = 1.2/1.2
Tornado IDS = 0.5/1.2
Tornado ADV = 1/0.6
F-4 = 0.4/0.7
F-4 Terminator = 0.6/1
Su-27 = 1.2/0.4
MiG-29 = 0.9/0.5
Su-30MKI = 1.3/1.2
Su-30MKK = 1.2/1.2
MiG-21 aka J7 = 0.3/0.4
MiG-27 = 0.3/0.7
JF-17 = 0.9/0.8
AMX = 0.3/0.5
Mirage F.1 = 0.7/0.8
Mirage 3/5 = 0.3/0.4
Jaguar = 0.2/0.6
F-5 = 0.3/0.4
J-10 = 1/1
J-8 = 0.6/0.4
JH-7 = 0.5/1.1
Q-5 = 0.1/0.4
H-6 = 0/1

E-3, Phalcon, KJ-2000, Boeing 737 = 8/0
Saab, KJ-200 = 6/0
E-2C, ZDK-03 = 4/0
