22 Indian security personnel killed in Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh

@jamahir @xeuss
Are they upper cast or lower cast soldiers?

Can't say. Maybe local to eastern India, so maybe from Bihar, Chattisgarh, Odisha and Jharkhand.

It is sad that they are cannon fodder to Upper Caste politicians. It is to be noted that the Salwa Judum anti-Naxal armed vigilante group was created by a Congress politician.

anyway, is there any backlash to Agnihotri for showing dead bodies?

I don't think so. He is a right-winger and his purpose here is to maintain the Indian middle class' image of the Naxalites as being evil people who want to break up the country.

Agnihotri actually made an anti-Naxalite film called Buddha In A Traffic Jam.

RIP In recent years, around 1500 km black topped roads have been constructed in the region of which 400 km was built in 2020. Another 500 km planned in 2021. Maoists are highly concerned with this, as their influence zone shrinks with infra development.
"Black topped roads"??

Hindustani science has finally discovered tarmac while PRC is building bullet trains in Tibet. These Maoists apparently should be grateful for tarmac, while under communism, they would get bullet trains.

Why are you people so full of rubbish?

Update: 22 Indian security personnel killed in this attack

Five security personnel were killed and a few others injured on April 3 in an encounter with Naxals at a forest in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, a top police officer said.

According to the police, some Maoists are also suspected to have been killed during the exchange of fire.

"The gunbattle broke out in Tarrem area (along Sukma and Bijapur border) when a joint team of security forces was out on an anti-Naxal operation," Chhattisgarh Director General of Police D.M. Awasthi said.

The personnel belonging to the CRPF's elite Commando Battalion for Resolute Action unit (CoBRA), the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and the Special Task Force (STF) were involved in the operation, he said.

"As per the preliminary information, five jawans were killed and a few others were injured in the gunfight," Mr. Awasthi said, adding that further details are awaited.

On March 23, five DRG personnel were killed when Naxals blew up a bus carrying the security personnel with an IED in Narayanpur district.

We demand Indian air strikes against China, as Chinese Maoist rebels were attacked by India and the Indians suffered casualties.

A few days back Kashmiri freedom fighters , attempting to liberate their home land killed 5 Indian soldiers

Why is India so bad at fighting , if india had any capabilities it would launch air strikes against China or Pakistan, we demand it!
@The Maverick , I think the rest are banned !

Very sad news, whatever it may be every solider must be respected as they are fighting for their own countries. Question for the Indians, why is their media before the bodies have been taken away, and why are they recording dead bodies? Shouldn’t that be prohibited?

Hardly any news coverage on NDTV or WION. I guess it is a meaningless story as Pakistan has not been mentioned. :coffee:

NDTV is a good news agency. And it has posted the news :
