indians crying 4 dead soldier and fighting here on pakistani forum

shaheed is not urdu or hindi word. it is arabic. indian must not dirty pure word in describing their soldier

.
There is no such thing as any core language where urdu is drives from. Its basically a mixture of many languages. Most being Arabic, Turkish, Farsi even Kurdish etc etc along with the native South Asian languages which includes the hinduic languages like sanskrit.

For example i can understand 5-10% of sentence if two people r talking in turkish infront of me, since i have been to turkey many times its my own experience. Same way u can pick a few words if yr urdu is good if Kurdish is spoken infront of u, same is for arabic.

This word however comes from Arabic and was mentioned too in my post later on if u have read it fully.

Urdu was basically developed by Mughals to communicate with the natives here if im correct, thats why its a mixture.

That is why I said that the word was Arabic: there are words from many languages in Urdu, and, in fact, there is nothing called an original Urdu word. If we speak about individual words, we need to particularly mention what the roots were. Urdu itself does not have a standard dialect; somebody will speak it with a great percentage of Hindi words in it, somebody speaking to that same person, in the same conversation, may speak it with a much larger percentage of Persian (typically) or with sub-sets of Turkish and Arabic.

You are correct in saying that it was developed to communicate among different ethnicities; you are being narrow-minded and rude in calling some of them 'natives', although I suspect that it was unintentional and that you meant no offence; you are also wrong in ascribing it to the Mughals - it was far older. Amir Khusrau was among the first to use it effectively, so that should give you the general idea. It grew out of the camp (ord) speech, or patois, of the Turks under the Slave Dynasty.

Please retain a sense of proportion.

It is a word borrowed by another language, and used in a broader sense than originally used. Just like the word martyr.

No need to get hyper.

.
I never knew by watching bollywood or indian saas bahu we could claim it as ours- intriguing -

But we will never ask you not to use hindi words since they are not yours.

By the way do you still care about the origin of the word or just trolling around. I dont. If I know a word, its mine and I will use it on your face.

I'm pretty sure that I'd want those who killed to to dispatched to their makers real soon.

I have no problems with this wording, and I am sure that Muslim Indians who are committed to the concept and idea of India and of democracy also will have no problems with this wording. The other wording was very hurtful.

. .
That is the case because it has many HINDI words

And we can easily understand your TV discussions on MODI and INDIA :-)

They sound exactly like HINDI
not today's urdu dude. The Urdu that we speak these days is usually half english, kind of a bazari
language. The actual Urdu that u can see in our dramas which reflect our rich luckhnovi and banasri way is the real one. Back in the day these two cities were the main center of Urdu and its literature.

.
That want a request. It was a statement.

Shaheed is not a core hindi word. It's Arabic in origin. No amount of Hindu nationalist propaganda week change historically accepted facts.
Too late. :)

We will continue to use it.

Om shanti to the good Colonel.

A service man died in the line of duty after death every one becomes only human we should respect it.

A tragic loss of life but Indian regime must thinks about it why this happens. Kashmir issue should be resolved bilaterally.
RIP for The colonel and all those who killed in a quest to get freedom.
thats not what i meant, follow the posts that i have shared in this thread later from the original post of mine.

.
not martyred, rather killed. If yr referring to the islamic term shaheed which is roughly translated to martyr in english then its wrong,, Its reserved for the people who have died for islam not anyother religion or reasons.

Yes this flat earth was created for specific faith people only after 7th century and they have every right to rule and impose laws.

.
The HindI word for Martyrdom is Veer Gati, shaheed is an Bedouin Arab word which predates Islam.

.
The other wording was very hurtful.

Similarly I didn t like what you said about a very capable and hard working defence Minister
Who is also well educated ; incorruptible and experienced administrator ;

HE HAS also REMOVED the HUGE BOTTLENECKS and LOGJAMS created by SAINT ANTONY
The previous defence Minister

He is making India STRONG ; And you have a problem with him ;
so please shed some light on your issues with Mr Parrikar

indian must not dirty pure word in describing their soldier

@SarthakGanguly Look, associating dead Indian soldier is making a pure word dirty, and our Joe is not finding it as an insult to army, but associating democratic elected minister with army is insulting to him for him being an armyman.

Look at his response - slapping Indian with negative for no offense and merely requesting this pakistani member not to kick Indian army on their butts.
