Why NOT

THESE are your remarks on Mr Parrikar

I just wanted to know the reasons for such abuse OR is it just hatred for BJP
What has he done to earn your ire

He doesn't know how to behave, how to respect those years his senior who are the service chiefs, how to speak about servicemen who are bitterly hurt by the slimy tactics of the government, or how to run the bloody ministry.

.
Have you looked at the post that sought to deny martyr status to the colonel? .

I have, and your point being?

You will now get a negative for lying in your teeth

meh..

Bunch of losers threaten you with some online negatives and bunch of losers are scared of them and dont give their opinions. I am neither of them.

Shaheed is an Arabic term you moron. It means "witness". When someone converts to Islam they proclaim they're "Shahada", meaning "bearing witness".

Don't steal other people's culture.

You can SAY whatever you want

HINDI has assimilated many words from OTHER languages

SHAHEED is a HINDI word

. . .
copy cats

No mate ; no language has a PROPRIETORY RIGHT over any word

HINDI language has ASSIMILATED many many words from other languages

There is no such thing as LINGUSITIC Patents in this world YET

SHAHEED is a HINDI word

We call SHAHEED Bhagat Singh ; He was a Martyr ; for freedom struggle

I wish you wouldn't bring Parrikar into the discussion. He doesn't know how to behave, how to respect those years his senior who are the service chiefs, how to speak about servicemen who are bitterly hurt by the slimy tactics of the government, or how to run the bloody ministry..

Now you want to dictate posters and drive them the way you want?

Whats wrong for an Indian to appreciate his democratically elected leaders?

You got an issue, keep it with you, no need to threaten people and use your useless power of negatively rating people based on your prejudices.

SHAHEED is a word of HINDI language

Every dead soldier is a shaheed

And in English shaheed means Martyr

Doubly wrong, in the narrow technical sense.

"Shaheed" was originally used in Arabic for a person who died upholding the Islamic faith. That word has since acquired a broader meaning, and we use it of our military or police personnel who die in armed conflict with enemies of the nation. The Pakistanis who object to it are correct in a narrow sense, but not in the sense that the word has come to mean nowadays.

The word "Martyr" itself relates only to those who have died for religious causes
  1. a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs.
    "the first Christian martyr"

verb
  1. 1.
kill (someone) because of their beliefs.
"she was martyred for her faith"
    synonyms: put to death, kill, make a martyr of, martyrize;
And finally, Shaheed was not originally a Hindi word; it is an Urdu word at best, it has no connections to any Sanskrit root.

I suggest you make a serious effort at improving your posts. A good way to start would be to improve your etymology.

Where have u found that? Shaheed comes from word shahadat, means martyrdom in arabic. Its an Arabic word which may have been adopted in yr language (through urdu off course) as its also pretty similar to Urdu. But its certainly not a core word of yr language, nor does its meaning and purpose justifies using on slain non muslim soldiers in war time scenario.

Shahadat is a honor reserved for those who died fighting for islam, And the people who get Shahadat, r given the title as Shaheed.

Thats the basic logic and explanation of Shaheed.

I don't know what you are and I really don't care. If you hadn't noticed the negative rating given to the original post, you are beneath contempt.

In any case, it is not a Hindi word, it may be an Urdu word, it may be what Gandhi called a Hindustani word. Not Hindi.

If you ask politely and respectfully, you MIGHT get an answer. If you take that tone, you will be ignored. Choose.
