nothing official but the technology has been circulating in Chinese forums for quite a while

I remember it has also been mentioned somewhere on PDF

When they are done evaluating the current one. It'll be awhile before you'll see a second carrier.

If the date is 2018, then China are probably already building it, it takes 3 years 4 months for US to build a Nimitz Class (Pre-shake down), and US had a lot of experience on ship building and AC building experience. It will take Chinese somewhere between 4-5 years to build their own.

If Chinese target are 2018, then they would be building the hull as we speak now.
