When the US and 16 of her allies combined were facing the longest retreat in the history of the US armed forces, they had to figure out some reason they were losing to the Chinese troops during the Korean War.

So they came up with "human waves". Except that human waves don't work, you need strategy and coordination to win a battle of any magnitude.

It's actually a brilliant policy. China somehow convinced Indian leaders that they're getting a fair deal with China allowing India to keep what they've always owned if they only recognize China's legitimacy over something it forcibly took from India 50 some years ago. But then again, Indian politicians have always been good negotiators. After all, they got a "free" aircraft carrier from Russia that only cost them 2 billion dollars.

Exactly. During Korea, China actually never had significantly more troops in theater than the US/UN. Chinese light infantry weren't road bound and could gain local superiority over stretched out enemy troops to offset China's deficiency in firepower.

Indian claims of Chinese "human waves" are especially preposterous since China inflicted disproportionately more damage against their Indian opponent, as evinced by 3rd party documentation in the form of a US army report. Equally preposterous are Indian claims of "fighting to the last man" since China ended up capturing more Indians than China killed.
To believe otherwise in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary requires a special kind of delusion.

These are BS figures, only 8000 to 10000 soldiers from our side were dragged into a war that we never wanted, china attacked us with 100,000+ soldiers and many of them didn't return home, we were in no position to capture them since they outnumbered us by 10:1 to 25:1, your CCP has covered up the truth. Which winning side unilaterally declare ceasefire and run away without any gain? China never won any war under CCP, that's a fact.
