GlobeScan - Negative Views of Russia on the Rise: Global Survey

My observations:-

1. While others are mainly positive about Germany's influence(shown in the first chart), Germans are mainly and consistently negative about others' influence(shown in the charts below)......

2. Though opinion on India's influence is the most balanced one still India's overall positive rating would have greatly increased if countries like Bhutan, Nepal, even Myanmar (who are under India's influence/think about India positively) were included because countries like Pakistan greatly increased China's positive rating, Israel also did the same for America......

North America, Western Europe, Australia, South Korea and Japan has the most negative views of China. Others are mostly positive or neutral towards China.

Yeah because our government won't run us over with a tank for criticizing our country, and we are modest, unlike the Chinese.

They were probably still monitored, like everything else in Communist China. Oh 85% Chinese think China is positive influence on the rest of the world, oh how very modest

Yes but your government didn't hesitate to kill 3 million Sikhs by getting the Indian army (tanks included) to massacre them in 1984.

We are very patriotic. We are the greatest civilisation in world history and a superpower of the 21st century. We have an independent foreign policy and the new government is doing a good job of building up the military and protecting our interests.

Probably got something to do with only negative news about India appearing in detail on German media these days. The average informative travelogues also tend to portray India in poor light on a host of issues.

Tough to be modest when you are Chinese mate. You got to be Chinese to realise what a privilege it is to be born into the greatest civilisation in human history. No doubt we have our problems but that doesn't mean we hate our own country.
