أكد اللواء بحري أركان حرب أسامة أحمد الجندي، قائد القوات البحرية، قدرة القوات البحرية المصرية على تأمين المجرى الملاحى لقناة السويس وجميع الموانئ المصرية البالغ عددها 21 ميناء و98 هدفًا بحريًا بخلاف الأهداف الساحلية على البحر، لتحقيق آمال وطموحات شعب مصر والأمن الاقتصادى من ناحية البحر الذى يتم من خلاله تصدير نحو 95% من صادرات مصر.

وقال الجندي، في أول حديث صحفي بعد توليه منصبه على هامش بدء التدريب البحري المشترك المصري اليوناني "إسكندرية 2012": لن نسمح باختراق مياهنا الإقليمية، فالقوات البحرية بخير وفى أعلى درجات الاستعداد القتالى وتقوم بواجباتها على أكمل وجه، وتأمين السواحل من السلوم شمالًا فى الغرب حتى خط عرض 22 فى الجنوب ليلاً ونهاراً، والجاهزية للتعامل مع المستجدات التى لم تكن موجودة من قبل مثل تهريب السلاح والسولار والهجرة غير الشرعية."

وأشار إلى أن القوات البحرية المصرية تمتلك فى الوقت الراهن ما يؤهلها للقيام بدورها القتالى على أكمل وجه، وأنه يتم تصنيع القطع البحرية بمواصفات يتم تحديدها لتتناسب مع مهام قواتنا البحرية، مشيراً إلى وجود تعاقدات للبحرية المصرية تعد خطوة فى صالح الأجيال القادمة، فعلي سبيل المثال ستنضم خلال منتصف العام القادم 2013 أربعة لنشات صواريخ حديثة جاري بناؤها بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وهي من أحدث لنشات الصواريخ في العالم طراز "إف ام سى".

وأضاف أنه يتم إنشاؤها بمواصفات مصرية طبقًا لاحتياجاتنا ومتطلبات مهامنا القتالية رغم أن أمريكا لا تبني وحدات صغيرة لاهتمامها بالوحدات البحرية الكبري ولكن أعجبتهم جداً المواصفات التي طلبناها في تلك اللنشات وهي حمولة 800 طن وتستطيع البقاء في البحر فترة طويلة ولديها قدرات تسليحية دفاعية وهجومية علي أعلي مستوي.
وتاب": بالاضافة إلي بناء تلك اللنشات تم الحصول علي لنشات من طراز "أر اى بى" أمريكية الصنع وكذلك استلام 2 لنش مرور ساحلي طراز سويفت (28 متر طو&#1604، موضحًا أنه لا يقتصر الاعتماد في تسليح قواتنا علي الجانب الأمريكي فقط، كما يقول قائد القوات البحرية، حيث تم الحصول علي علي لنشات قطر وانقاذ من طراز (دام&#1606 من الجانب الهولندي وكذلك استلام ثلاثة لنشات مرور ساحلي من طراز "ام ار تى بى 20" من الجانب التركي.
وفيما يتعلق بامتلاك القوات البحرية للغواصات الحديثة فيؤكد اللواء بحري أركان حرب أسامة أحمد الجندي أن الغواصات تلعب دوراً هامًا في المعارك البحرية ولا توجد قوات بحرية في العالم لا تعتمد علي سلاح الغواصات وقد تم التعاقد مع الجانب الألماني لبناء غواصتين بألمانيا من طراز 209 حيث يتم بناؤهما علي أحدث ما وصل إليه هذاالطراز، وذلك على الرغم من قدرة غواصاتنا بوضعها الحالى على تنفيذ مهامها بنجاح ورد أي عدائيات فى البحرين الأحمر والمتوسط، إلا أننا دائما نتطلع لمواكبة الأحدث، موضحًا أن خطط التسليح دائما ما تواكب المتغيرات التي تشهدها المنطقة وهناك استعداد دائم لمواجهة أي خطر قد تتعرض له مصر.

وحول مجال التصنيع البحري، أكد قائد القوات البحرية أنه جاري الاعتماد حاليًا علي نظم محلية التصنيع من خلال التحديث المستمر في ورش الصيانة والإصلاح وترسانة الإسكندرية بكل ما هو جديد يساعد علي احتفاظ وحداتنا البحرية بكفاءة قتالية وفنية عالية ولدينا كفاءات ومهارات عالية تقوم بتصنيع بعض الوحدات والمعدات حيث يتم بناء كراكة بالشركة المصرية لإصلاح وبناء السفن وكذلك جاري استكمال بناء أربعة لنشات مرور ساحلي من طراز "سويفت" بأيدي أبنائنا بالشركة المصرية بالتعاون مع الجانب الأمريكي وستدخل الخدمة قريبًا، وأيضا جاري بناء لنشات مرور ساحلي طراز "ام ار تى بى" بالتعاون مع الجانب التركي في ترسانة البحرية.

Is it believable that Bashar Al Assad, a long time dictator, would make urgent 'reforms' (for show) because of a public uprising comprising only 2% of Syrians?

Egypt to acquire two German-built submarinesNavy chief: ‘Egypt will not allow anyone to enter its territorial waters’

Egypt has signed an agreement to acquire two German-built Type 209 attack submarines, according to an announcement Friday by the new head of the Egyptian Navy, Osama Ahmed el-Gendy.

“Egypt will not allow anyone to enter its territorial waters,” el-Gendy said in his first public statement since taking office. ”Our Navy is in good condition, and at the highest level of operational readiness.”

El-Gendy also said that four US-built FMC missile ships would join the Egyptian fleet in 2013.

Let me explain something, I was one of the supporter of those protests, because every Syrian wants poltical freedom and etc, these are natural rights, and its every Syrian right to protest, however after Alasad fulfilled our demands by allowing political parties, changing the Constitution and more then 70+ laws and bills were passed, emergency law ended, then every Syrian demand was fulfilled, and we thanked the government for their reform, however when the Syrian government done everything, the west hated it, so they want to plan B which is destroying Syria, slowing reforms, and sending terrorists.
