Featured 2.5 Front or 3.5 Front? Indian Army has another front within its own ranks

couple of things:
The differences --- rare in the army’s top echelons --- between the head of the Jaipur-based South Western Command and his chief of staff relate to roles and responsibilities of various offices in the command headquarters, the officials said, without elaborating on the exact nature of the ongoing tussle between the two lieutenant generals. The difference of Opinion is between the Lt Gen and his own 2IC, not some political appointee by the fascist government. Also given you are deviating from the script, shouldn't you be using Nazi instead?

Remind me again where does the majority of hiring and firing of political appointees in the military at the top echelons happens again?
Removal of CiC G.H Khan
Appointment of COAS Gen Tikka Khan,
Appointment of COASGen Zia Ul Haq (Junior of the eight Lt Gen's of his time)
Appointment of COAS Gen. Kakar (Superseding 5 Lt Gens?)
Removal of CJC/COAS Gen Karamat
Appointment of COAS/President Gen Musharraf. (Superseding three others)
Appointment of COAS Kyani (Superseding Gen Kidwai)
Appointment of COAS Bajwa (Superseding two others)

But then again, just like political interventions have resulted in the selecting military leadership, the other way around has also been in works throughout. So do they cancel each other out and results in a zero score? Squeaky clean by arithmetic?

Also reading a few threads, quite a bit of strategic expediency of the younger lot is based on dua, it seems.

So your best deflection is to bring whataboutism? Who’s really following a script - although yes, Nazi genocidal bigots is the right term for them.
Should see how this NRI cadre run when confronted with their beliefs in front of their white colleagues - complete 180.

I did not make tall claims regarding Pakistan in this thread - as far as disagreements on regional appointments go - what is my original statement: could be a case .. which means that other options are possible.

But, your job is to be holier than thou as per your script ,mine is to point out creeping fascism.

There is no going back now.

Differences between a top army commander and his second-in-command came to light on Monday, with army chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane nominating a senior lieutenant general to iron out the rift between the two senior officers, people familiar with the developments said, on condition of anonymity.

There was no official word from the army on the development.
The South Western Command is headed by Lieutenant General Alok Kler, an armoured corps officer, and his second-in-command is Lieutenant General KK Repswal, who is from the Corps of Engineers.
After receiving representations from both the three-star officers, Naravane nominated the army’s vice chief Lieutenant General SK Saini to look into the matter and submit a detailed report with measures to streamline the functioning of the command headquarters, the officials said.

“Differences of opinion at that level can hinder day-to-day functioning and decision making. The fact-finding mission will hopefully resolve the matter,” the officials said.
The South Western Command has around 130,000 soldiers and is responsible for guarding India’s border with Pakistan in Rajasthan and Punjab.
On December 31, 2019, Kler wrote a letter to commanders under him asking them to shun military pageantry, ensure offices shut by 2 pm (the time they are meant to be shut), and encourage professional dissent (as different from insubordination) as they focus on their primary task --- constant readiness for battle.
In directions issued to 265 commanders on New Year’s Eve to improve the operational readiness of the South Western Command, he asked them to adopt a nuts-and-bolts approach to soldiering as “it’s not a question of if but when we go to war.”

nothing serious , they can make any enemy surrender before indian army .

.
Kler is doing and supporting the right things in his command and its only natural that he's facing resistance and gurdles, **** generals should learn from him. This tussle as it originates based on friction between working variables and approached is fruitful and desirable rather than the archaic "G sir" approach

Two years of humiliation by Indian Army has led to this day.

The habitual explainers have so many stones to hide behind but there's a reality. A bitter one which represents society in it's form as it is..... Those who still try to hide it, can read as what really happening.. This is in-fact not the difference of opinion.. A professional Military has the syllabus & SOPs where personal opinion or choice doesn't matter. Such an excuse is like Indian Army is not a professional institute a officers having difference of opinion can truly violate SOPs decorum etc and walk away freely. If such is the case, well there is no other argument. Contrary to that, undermnetion subject has been the main case of all grievances and those online videos being shared by Soldiers and then, who knows many were booked and even their families feared that complainant may be dead to hide corruption/injustice within Indian Army. Those writings are on the record and following seems to be the core concern along with minority subject.

Now then Mr Think Tank

Look at the title of the thread and look again at your post. Why the obsession to relate every topic back to Pakistan? Whats the infatuation? Do you find it difficult to stick to the topic? Does it burn you thinking of the level of incompetency deep rooted in the Indian army that you have to deflect?
Now stop embarrassing yourself (not that thats difficult) and either remain quiet or have the decency to stick to the topic.
You're on Pakistan Defense forum - not a 2 cents shity forum trying to make India feel great. You're given a chance to voice your opinion - dont abuse it.
Do tc and dont forget this is not the forum that you can get away with snarky remarks and encourage trolls to talk crap about the host nation.
@masterchief_mirza @Rafi @Dalit @Hakikat ve Hikmet - hes at it again.....

Incompetent - poorly trained - disjointed - lacking ammunition - regularly battered at the border - often taking prisoners by the enemy - suicide a regular trend - what do you really expect from incredible Indian army especially it’s leadership?

Add to that the psychological trauma of committing human rights abuses on civilians on a regular basis. The human mind can tolerate only so much evil, before cracks begin appear and the psychological state of the mind begins to give way..

Every human being is born with a conscience. That conscience takes a big toll of occupation armies.

So your best deflection is to bring whataboutism?
Political appointees in the military/Military Appointees in the Politics is all outcome of perfect coincidences of circumstances in Pakistan; whereas the mechanism of Indian military leadership to resolve differences between a Lt Gen and his own 2IC must be : due to fascist political appointee. Out of million reason for disagreement between a General and 21c, it must be fascist in nature. If not a script then what?

Who’s really following a script -
Your chain of command, military> propaganda machine> Political leaders>minions.

although yes, Nazi genocidal bigots is the right term for them.
There you go.

Should see how this NRI cadre run when confronted with their beliefs in front of their white colleagues - complete 180.
Really? keyword being beliefs. Narratives based on beliefs unravel quite fast; thus one of the rules of the forum to stay away from belief-based narratives, right? Wouldn't take white, black, or orange skin tone for that to unravel. Now if the question is of professionalism of the Indian Army, its heritage or pedigree compared to its peers; bring it on. We will see who gets where.

I did not make tall claims regarding Pakistan in this thread - as far as disagreements on regional appointments go - what is my original statement: could be a case .. which means other options are possible.
You did not, I responded with examples to show you even situation as bad as political appointees in the military can be just the outcomes of politics and not the F word.
To the meat in potatoes, Where is the question of appointments here?
But, your job is to be holier than thou as per your script ,mine is to point out creeping fascism.

You are doing a fine job of smoke and mirrors; and I do appreciate it.
But when it comes to Appointees - Political/Military; there is no holier than thou situation there, its just facts. You have had a bunch we have had none; so even a disagreement, outcome of what could be a million different reasons, to you would automatically seem like political appointment and disgruntlement. And then adding the fascist seasoning; is playing to the gallery.
What I am waiting to read is Fascist Modi raises onion prices.

Obfuscation, "et tu quoque" and sleight of hand. These are how our friends counter most arguments and exploratory critiques on these pages. We're on to them though, hence the pin-drop silence most days. The clearest illustration is when every thread ends up with "but but but 1971, ha". These three listed methodologies are the preferred strategy for our easterly neighbours during their professional interactions too, hence it should be no surprise.
