1971 partition was more because of unfair political attitude of Pakistan against Bangladesh than Indo-Pak war. No partition would ever have taken place if Pakistan had treated Bangladesh fairly, infact a united Pakistan would have atleast guaranteed a status pro quo, if not exceed on achievements of 1965.

Things could also have been different if the Indian Prime Minister, at that time, had informed his/her Pakistani counterpart about the seperatist movement leaders/activists/members/supporters details and perhaps Pakistan too would have wiped out the opposition in a single day...........something like the list that Benazir bhutto gave to Rajiv Gandhi containing details, names, addresses etc. of people involved in Khalistan Movement. You guys do remember Khalistan Movement, don't you!

The often repeated figure of '90,000' is a fabricated figure, there were no doubts POWs( who had no reason to fight for a place filled with traitors ) but the POW figure of 90,000 is highly exaggerated as has been the case with most of india’s military engagements , which have been highly exaggerated.

Indians relied on terrorists for the war in 71 and cannot lay claim to victory without accepting their support for terrorism against Pakistan.

Indians are known to fabricate stories from fake encounters in Kashmir to get medals, to lies about the war in Kargil where point 5353 is still not with them.
