If there are a few good channels in Pakistan then DAWN News is one of them. Dawn aired footage of the attack from the Taliban side and that footage was very real. The heavily armed Taliban weren't doing so well, taking a lot of incoming fire, with tracers whishing all around and RPGs setting off fires in the bushes in front of them. I wasnt surprised the Afghan police claimed that the bodies of many of the attacking Taliban were still lying around the area because it seems like these guys attacked a heavily armed RAW training camp mistaking it for a soft target. If Dawn footage was actually from this event, and now the Indian government is trying to deny this even happened then it could mean that theyre trying to cover something up. Its not like the Indians to miss an opportunity to rant at Pakistan and try and spoil Afghan-Pak relations. This is all in the domain of possibilities right now ofcourse, but since its not like DAWN to air crap and this sort of thing has happened before, well wait for things to clear up instead of deleting this thread.
Keep all your discourse civil and mutually respectable. Otherwise Ill be deleting whole posts from now on.

saw the footage aired on Dawn News. But it doesnt suggest anything. Just a bunch of Talibs firing, one of them fires a rocket. Footage is shot at night there is heavy firing in the background, and doesnt show any 'person' being attacked by the Talibs, neither does it suggest a location. Infact couple of Talibs are firing on 'kachcha' road between thick bushes on either side.
I never said I was concluding anything, and you haven’t seen the video closely enough. It was no fake fire-fight, tracers were flying dangerously close and even if the video was shot in some other fight, the Taliban were not doing too good.
Also don't turn this thread into another 'Indian media is more responsible' boast arguments. As far as we're concerned, you have no reason to be so condescending given where you’re coming from.
