Altay doesn't have any relations with XK-2. Their appearances are quite different. Before anything else, Altay is a tank which have a weight around 65 tonnes, While XK-2 is 55t. Chassis is quite bigger, driver section is different, Autoloader isn't placed, thermal sights'places are different, armours design and characteristics are different...etc What Otokar engineers doing is to benefit from Hyundai Rotem engineers XK-2 experiences at design process of Altay.
