128 dead, over 200 injured in Mastung blast targeting BAP meeting; IS claims responsibility

@Areesh bro, with Indian border on the east, and Afghan border on the west, we will never be able to fully eradicate the menace of terrorism. Even if we say that ISI is top (of course it is not a top agency because of the funds it receives to secure two borders), we can't expect it will work like Israeli agency.. With huge budget and resources, India can't control Kashmir situation, and other northern separatist movements. Every now and then, their security personnel are killed.. and they have to control relatively much less of a border as compared to their strength..

You must compare the situation, where were we in 2010, and where are we in 2018. 5-10,000 ISIS terrorists hiding in the vast land of Afghanistan, we will have to accept that some will slip through.. even after the borders are sealed..

Many, many terrorist attempts are foiled on a daily basis.. Ammunition gets recovered, terrorists killed, but 2-3 attempts out of many become successful.. and why we shouldn't expect this when RAW, CIA and others are working against one country and helping ISIS covertly? It is really hard to believe that an attack in a few months will not happen by the enemies.. no way possible..

One possibility, that you have suggested in your earlier posts is to be aggressive. I think all the agencies are working aggressively against the several enemies, but if we think that we must enter Afghanistan to neutralize the terrorists, this is exactly what our enemies want.. First, it will not achieve anything as Afghanistan is not a small country, and secondly, we will lose many more soldiers on a foreign land. There are two ways remaining, (1) strengthen pro Pakistan forces in Afghanistan (and you may have noticed that we have been successful in that lately) (2) Put diplomatic pressure on Afghanistan, US and India to stop supporting terrorists in Afghanistan..

Now unfortunately, options # 2 requires us to be strong on all fronts first.. economically, diplomatically, internally, and on the defense front..

If you notice, out of the four above, we have failed miserably on 3 i.e, economic, internal security, and diplomatic front.. These three are primary responsibilities of civilian government. But even if I take your argument that internal security is also Army's responsibility, then we must first abolish all in civilian agencies, like FIA and IB, and give their budget to ISI.. and scrap our police and give its budget to Army.. We can't expect our 600,000 (1.2 million with reserves) army to secure eastern border (with one of the largest armies of our foe stationed there), secure western border, with all the mess on the other side of border, provide 450,000 individuals to election commission, and control internal security.. But Army is still doing it. It is stretched heavily man.. It requires our praise more than anything..

Among other top 10 armies, our Army is probably the cheapest, and yet very much effective when it comes to the services we obtain from our forces.. We can't increase budget, because our economic condition is too weak, we can't fight our case properly internationally, because our governments do not have guts, and to be honest, no one listens to a country which only asks for loans rather than developing and implementing right economic policies. Now there is another front opened by India.. and that is water.. even there, Army is showing the politicians what should be the priorities.. because when there will be no water in 2025, our Agricultural country will not have anything left to even pay for our defense budget, and we may have to shrink so many institutions, including Army and Air force to get the things going.. It is Supreme Court and Army that has taken this initiative so that politicians kuchh sharam karain..

Halaat buhat kharaab hain bro, but bashing Army or GHQ will not take us anywhere, other than towards more chaos..

Sorry to say bro but these are all excuses to hide our indifference towards Baluchistan and our incompetence in general.

But anyways I am not going to debate any further on this. Fanboys get irritated with my posts and I don't want to waste my time any further on this topic.

Time would prove me right since still we are not doing anything to eliminate terrorists in Balochistan or other areas that are more prone to terrorism.

Useless agencies fail for the 1000th time. We all know where these guys are coming from, why aren't they stopped or captured?

Absolute incompetence on display.

first we need to analyze what and whats not possible & if not how can we reduce it too almost Zero.
In case of Border Post and areas along border threat will be their we can reduce it can't be zero.
But thing change when terrorist attack deep inside e.g. Mustang.
Why because terrorist need Handler, Facilitator, House, Mobile, Foods Etc.
We can't take out bases because they are deep inside Afghanistan, because of geopolitical reason, because we don't have money.
Along border we are showing progress but lot we can do. Specially Drone surveillance along border. 10~20 KM deep surveillance is more then enough & we don't need armed one. We just need to detect terrorist movement before they can cross border. Second is crossing point. we should use whatever tech we have to detect explosives & weapon. terrorist still use crossing along with open border. & maintain up to date database of every Pakistani & Afghan crossing.
Last and most important facilitator, handler & militant in Pakistan. here we can do much more
starting with Free Hand to ISI. People need to understand if we want to blame army first give them power.
No third party as law & judiciary failed & IB is used as personal tool by Politician.
No need to waste Resources merge IB in ISI for effective use of resources.
ISI oversight on FIA & Police regarding Terrorism Only.

It is always better safe then sorry.
We as nation has to decide either terrorist act like mustang or right of terrorist and potential terrorist aka missing person.
Then Only then one can blame army although 100% safety record is still not possible.

The hearts of these terrorists are closed. They're attacking the civilian population and destabilizing Muslim countries. Each one of them should be hunted down and killed. Their supporters should be identified and should meet a similar fate. Sick of them blowing up innocent people.
