I don't think they were involved in Sianchin and Kargil. And if they were they, would have been very few in number. But let's take a look at how the SSG spearheaded the operations in Tirah and Shawal valleys shall we? These places which are among the most dangerous in the world. No air support would able to make a difference in these areas. And they are making significant progress in both Valleys. Just like in SWAT. And broke the back of the TTP. Because of these operations spearheaded by Pakistani SF, terrorist attacks in Pakistan have drastically fallen by 70%.
