My personal opinion about solution on Balochistan, is that we should make peace with BLA. Baloch people have real grievances against Pakistani state, I think they can be addressed by giving more autonomy to Balochistan such as resources exploitation and introducing a quota system smillar to of Sindh which will make most Baloch people happy. Even if BLA doesn’t make peace, there support will decrease and activity will decline.

I know some people will say otherwise. But that’s just my personal opinion because bloodless solution is better. Pakistan is at critical stage in its 74 years existence, economy is in shambles and we can’t afford a large scale operation in Balochistan with TTP gaining momentum and their resurgence again in FATA is worrying.

We all know who FC is really under. And also even if anyone else would have been charge same thing would be happening. Our over all policy of not hitting TTP and BLA leadership hideouts in Iran and Afghanistan is making us pay the price. First understand the issue. Bring any one on this seat and you would have same issue for sometime. What is happening in Afghanistan will have some affect here. A multi prong approach is needed.

Bring best guy you think there is and same crap will be happening. People have no idea about war but want to comment like experts.

In the constitution of Pakistan FC act is separate from Army act and FC doesn't have the same payscale pr share in defence budget as Army.

See the thing is, SFs don't need to look along the entirety of the province, just along the routes they take. Because that's where they're hit the most, apart from posts, which should be backed by air support.
Likewise, such networks need to be booby trapped, to ensure no-one uses them. It's not difficult, it's just our incompetence, we've been fighting 2 decades of terrorism, with little or no change in how terror attacks are conducted, yet we haven't bought more than a 100 MRAPs, or dedicated COIN aircrafts.

They turned down IK's call for peace, they've now focused on attacking poor folks selling flags or labourers of different ethnicities, do you think such people should be talked to?

What Sheikh Rasheed has to do with this ? Some people want to blame him for them having constipation is another thing. And what we need to do is make our border management stronger. Plus go after TTP and BLA leadership inside Pakistan as well as outside Pakistan. Plus get attack helicopters and start using drones in a big way.

Think army should be deployed there instead of FC?
