I do not think Pakistan is fully ready today. You need strong naval presence to protect your sea lanes. That should happen once Chinese naval presence in Gwadar completed. Chinese Navy would keep the Indian Navy at bay, Chinese Army would protect the strategic installations in defensive mode while Pakistan's Army would go full throttle to capture Kashmir and any counter offensive from India Army to recapture Kashmir would be fought with NASR being used on India mainland and to maintain the status quo.

Trench will also stop the smuggling of weapons and militants who were using vehicles to move back and forth easily. Now no one can cross the border on any sort of vehicles except crossing points.

Pakistan should know and realize that when it's war with India we are all alone and we need to battle it out with India all alone no china or anyone.Its our war with India and we need to fight it ourselves,the sooner we realize this the better for us

Chinese are only doing bussiness with us and they are protecting their investment. Pakistan needs to realize that instead of relying on others it needs to tackle India all alone.

3 AIP fully armed subs along with 10 frigates (& many FAC) and a potent navy air arm both thunders and f-16s armed with harpoon as well as 8 naval armed P3 orions are more than enough for sea denial

we definitively need more investment in air force to support the frigates as they lack potent air defense capabilities

i doubt having 30 instead of 8 frigates is going to change any thing, in either case beyond 10 frigates would involve a major war which would be more than enough in length and damage to cross the nuclear threshold

india will always have a larger navy, large than any country besides china, USA and may be russia

From what Pakistan is going through right now China for us is a strategic window and as soon as we seal our borders with Afghanistan and protect our investment we need to shift our energy and device a strategy to counter ajit dovals terrorism and for this it needs a strong foreign policy.

Trench is very deep and wide. Granted it is not permanent solution but it certainly makes it difficult for cross border movement. Before they used to move heavy truckss back and forth with ease. Every bit counts.
