I noticed the same but both aircraft are of same batch ... 207 and 208 of year 2016 ... most probably due to impact of sunlight or some maintenance issue ,,, however second reason is highly unlikely

Nope most probably using the afterburner and hence the extra fuel causes the smoke. If you watch the video carefully the same aircraft later on goes from Smokey engine to smoke free

I wouldn't want to be their enemy. These boys at home with the jf17 and it's highly agile.

Nope both break at same speed so no AB is engaged(highley unlikely that one engages it and the other doesnt)..if they didnt keep the same formation from take off to the ending and switched sides then only lead aircraft was emitting the black smoke otherwise both of em(which I think is actually the case)...check the break at 1:43-45 closely both emit black smoke.

I think our boys are flying with some WS-10 and liked it very much, what you think about it.

This jf-17 program needs to be continue.we need at least 100 jf block 3.we need aesa radar on these jf-17s with improved speed.we want at least mach 2.

The good news is that the smoke can be turned off. This is a product of poor combustor design. The votes generation within the combustion chambers isn't keeping the fuel in the chamber long enough to burn it all and non burnt fuel is the smoke emitted. Still aircraft like the f4 could be seen way out at the horizon die to the smoke in the early days. PAF will find a solution

Yes like they solved the wing issue.

I simply love how agile this Air Craft is. No wonder PAF is confident with this machine
Now even young guys are being posted on JFT..a Flight Lt. recently got promoted to JFT..did u know that @Windjammer ?
