No bhai. We are in the hills. No beaches. That's all along the coast, once you descend the hills (ghats). About 200-250 kms away.

Its a trekkers, bikers, cyclists, mountaineers, hang gliders delight.

Small shrubs, grass, and moss (very slippery). The whole Konkan belt is heavy rainfall in the monsoons (does get quite muggy then). Heavy means really heavy, as in aasman toot pada types. Non stop deluge.

But that's the pretty season. In the summer the whole hillsides become yellow and brown. But the first few rains and its emerald green again.

It would have been perfect if your place had heavy snowfall ......... a strange terrain for me, mountain with shrubs and grass and very few not pine trees, Pakistan doesn't have such places I guess, we have solid mountains, rocks, and where we have soil the place is covered with pine trees etc, forests ....... or may be I haven't explored fully yet.

Yes those are mountains. Ours are little hills in comparison

I love mountains. Snow. The taller and more rugged and stark the better for me.

Ab next trip cycle pe. With my sheeply best friend Who is built like a tank, but an asthmatic.
