7 attacks in 5 days, this one sentence explains the sorry state of affairs of Pakistan's security and it's establishment/government capabilities. After two plus years of major offensive operation we have blasts in all over the country; in every province. From few years we are being told repeatedly by the government and the army that dossiers against Indian involvement about terrorist activities in Pakistan are going to be handed over to all major powers in the world and UN. But where are those dossiers??? Numbers of visits to Afghanistan are made by both civilian and military leadership. Every other day India and her indian goon sitting in Kabul rant about Pakistan and don't let go of any chance to bash Pakistan on every international forum. I see no effort on the part of anybody to own Pakistan and it's problems. What's the point of the army and paramilitary forces if we cannot do a decisive action against few thousand people. Let aside going inside Afghanistan, if army cannot be decisive against outfits in south punjab and interior sindh i wonder what to expect if they have to do some major operation outside of Pakistan's border.

After every incident all we hear is condemnation and taking revenge statements and then life goes on and every body forgets until the next big incident.

It's about time that we start asking questions about the dossiers they talk about all the time, why the banned organizations are just banned in papers and why their members are not on trial. Why no body including military leadership don't have the courage to take any decisive action against India or Afghanistan if they are actually involved in all of the incidents. One incident happened in Mumbai and Indians still rant about it and don't let go of any opportunity in any international forum to paint Pakistan in bad Image. And no one even mentioned even the name of kulbhushan yadav on any international forum. I believe that truth is bigger than what is being told to us Pakistanis. From Bureaucracy to politicians and to military elite they are all on their power ride and don't give a damn about Pakistanis. It's time that we must start talking about it.

but than IK was out demonstrating, than there were many against him and his demonstrations, as long as there are traitors, what can one do but treat transistors as the punishment fits. so Army should under the law of protection of Pakistan when internally attacked should go after these terrorist without seeking permission from these so called leaders.

Trust your army and intelligence services. The enemy and traitors want you to lose all hope and start questioning. DONT LET THE ENEMY OUTSMART YOU

I'm not very sure they're giving you the right picture. After APS they sent you the shiny baubles- F 16 bombing, people dying. You said it brought down terror. How come 70+ were hit despite Raheel's claims? Surely this can't be Bajwa's fault, he's barely entered. Problems never get solved until they're solved. I think a lot of misdirection is involved here.

You mean the guy who, from day one, was against any and all military operations against the Taliban? "Hum inse nai larsaktay. Mein inke sath raha hun, mujhe pata hai inka, yeh bohut takatwar hain". This guy? Really? Don't replace one rat with another.

I think all terrorism in Pakitstan is Azab of ALLAH ALMIGHTY ALONE on whole nation because we are not implementing Islam in its true spirit. It can only be removed if our Army and govt play their role to implement Islam.

Zia the bigot probably thought this of all the ills of Pakistan at the time. He defined the tradition of filling Pakistan with extremists, and we still suffer as a result today. Look at Pakistan of the 1960s and the Pakistan of today, it's clear why we suffer from terrorists today, but had not suffered them before.

Plenty of nations on earth are a little light on their 'implementation of Islam' as you call it, but suffer not a single death at the hands of a terrorists, nothing like the plague we have here. Personal piety has its virtues, and a state guided by morals has its virtues. Though I suspect what you mean by this vague phrase goes further than that.

Zia the bigot probably
How can zia alone be responsible in a country of 200 million ppl? Even if so how long will you keep blaming zia.
Its been nearly 3 decades since zia's death, the next generation is already started. Instead of blaming zia, pakistan should ensure future generations dont go astray. Pakistan should take feedback from the past to correct the future.

For the past 16 years Pakistanis have suffered immensely. This will never end. The only time the PM will take action is if his own family (God forbid) are targeted by these lunatics.

Our security establishments are doing all they can. Its not easy as every country knows who has suffered foreign terrorism. Our agencies are working 24 hours a day tracking foreign agents and agencies with limited resources and staff. What you see is the tip of iceberg of what our agencies are really stopping, the risks to their life they are put in their daily work and the sacrifices they make for Pakistan. We need to pay our agents more for the work they do as the protection they give to our country is priceless. As for criticising the PM , first try and increase security in your street then criticise.

Excuse me for pointing out the elephant in the room, but isnt Pakistan's problem simply Islam?

No it's not.

Pakistan's problem is the corrupt political elite that has developed a chokehold over Pakistan's institutions through corruption, nepotism and criminality. When all the State Institutions are rotten to the core with corruption, nothing ever gets done because the funds allocated for a specific task have been siphoned off. When the Politicians place their lackeys with no experience or expertise at the top jobs, they are bound to fail at their job.

Pakistan's biggest problem is CORRUPTION and NEPOTISM.
