Prime Minister Gentiloni announced that he will follow the advice from police chief Gabrielli, who created a 2 page paper regarding this issue.

All 500.000 migrants who are currently in Italy are registered, put into camps. There they are divided by real asylum seekers and economic migrants.

They must prove their heritage. If they dont have passports, their mobilephones get confiscated. if they are unable to prove their heritage they get deported to a 3rd party country we have contracts with. One of those countries is Eritrea, which accepts anyone Italy sends.

Current estimations say, that 450.000 will get deportet.

That Renzi lost the referendum is the best that could happen to Italy.

The deportations will be done by frighter ships and bring the migrants back to africa.

Its ironic because this law is not just supported by far right Lega Nord and Forza Italia but even from the more left Movimento 5 Stelle.

Yep, you have no obligation to them i.e. the Economic migrants. The young men should all be shipped. Those in need should be helped. The italian Navy has saved thousands.

They cant come back. The distance is too far. They are currently shipped to italy by our own coast guard. This ends now. The australian model is installed.

This means all boats are taken off shore at libyan coast. People transported back and boats destroyed. All they get is a retour to tunisia and libya.

The cost is calculated at a much lower percentage. A ferry can carry up to 5000 persons. This means even if we use just one ferry its done with just 90 tours. A chartered ferry would cost italy 20 million € for that time span.

Also it has nothing to do with election.

The time of this liberal left nonsense is over.

We must show this people that nothing but misery awaits them if they try. Its hard for them but they have no hope.

Spain shows that this works. The closed balkan route showed this as well. When you show them that you have no mercy they start to break.
Hey Markus, how is your Body building and character roles going? Will we be seeing you in any new movies?

Seems you never took the ferry... and don't forget that every immigrant get few euros from the gov when they send them back...

Low cost ticket btw Genova-Tunis 15-18H trip... it's around 450€. (with a night travel)
So if you want a italy-ethiopia.. (10 days trip) i let you do the math... ( and you should pay the suez pass...)

Plane will be cheaper... that's why they use it today...

As for your answer. Tunisia refused to take them back... GL with Libya :)

We charter ferries as we also have our own ships. As the article said and as Gentiloni said, time of kindness is over.

This issue is agreed from right and left parties. You have to make a cut. African can solve its problems only internal. We cant help them. We dont want help them. And this must be made clear.

Ad no, they dont get money. The new law even allows that their money and mobilephones get confiscated to pay for their retour.

Go speak with them.. you will be suprised :)
And even if you get the trip for free... whatever it's army or not. you gonna have pay for fuel and suez pass...

Look, the only solution it's to give them to libya. but they refused. so whatever fantasy you want to believe, they will stay in italy, and only few thousand will go back as a "gov stunt"

Enjoy.

What suez pass? Boats are send to libya and tunisia.

What Libya refuses or not doesnt matter. They cant do anything anyways when a ship lands. Same counts for Tunisia.

I think that can be dealed with peacefully though. The leaders there take money and do the dirty work there.

Lol seems you stuck in a dream... then let's follow your logic. Why no ferry as come To tunisiaor Libya since then? if they can't do nothing about that?
Come on come back to reality. if Tunisia or libya says no, it's no. Italy will not send one by force...
Tunisia and libya ONLY accepted to take BACK THEIR OWN citizens , not the others...
And that is happening everyday. tunisians or libyans are already sent back home by plane.

we already did so. I think you know we have not much respect for regarding that. We landed an aircraft in Eritrea, pushed out 250 africans, paid the local airport chief and thats it. Libya is the same and Tunisia would follow that as well. Libya has no government. I'm sure we find a warlord there who makes a deal.

Its is a start. Once they realize they have no hope left, they stop. It is not italy obligation to save africans at north african coast and ship the, to italy. Our coast guard retreats. Its up to you then to either save them or let them die.

Then good luck finding a warlord with an aeroport in libya.. as for Tunisia, we have few... and it's already a no :) since, the pop voted for it. I understand that Italy is failing in the democraty part... but not Us :)

what airport in libya? you ship a boat there, load the cargo off and drive home.

Look friend, this is a problem for us. And we need a solution. Nobody wants violence to be used. To close down is one thing and can be easily done. But we need to bring those away. Tunisia depends on our partnership. So we will find an agreement for sure.

Port will be impossible since, you can't pass it. at least by air with planes with have better luck.
that's why I used the "airport"

As for immigrants, you have to be alone in that, get them directly to whatever country, but North africa, forget about it, it's over.
As for partnership, Italy is not a major partner of Tunisia... Libya is a major italian partner. BUT it's starting to shift... so if you want thos immigrants to step a foot in Libya someday, you gonna start writting a big fat check to the tripolian government AND sending assload of defence equipment. It's your only solution, eitherway you gonna pay a lot.
Have Fun :)
