Persians did the terrible mistake to launch their nuke program without thinking of the consequences and overestimating their own capabilities. After all, not every Muslim nation is Pakistan. You need to have balls of steels in order to pursue the nuke program as it is a terrible red line for most nations to see Muslims getting their hands on this forbidden tech. Pakistan has lost many top generals, scientist, sleuths , huge economic burden and sanctions, covert and overt terrorism faced by whole nation for decades.

Its a huge burden to carry and Iran rather pursing its own, should have come into some sort of defense pact with Pakistan, of course it would have required surrendering some sort of sovereignty. After all UK is dependent on America for its nuke missile force.

After Indian tests of 1974, Canada told Pakistan that it will stop all its operation on Karachi Nuclear Powerplant (which it has built) if Pakistan doesnt sign NPT. Pakistan declined and Canadians left. We only had 2 years of fuel at that time. Guess what .... The Plant never stopped working, Pakistan went from nowhere to having a complete front end fuel cycle in less than 2 years

And regarding back end fuel cycle, If you are suggesting that Pakistan can not process the fuel after it has burnt in reactor and separate Uranium and Plutonium then that means Pakistan can not take out Plutonium it manufactures in Khushab reactors. Is this what you are suggesting ??

He recalled how American was acting smart arse about our nuke progame. GIK just told him to F off right on his face, ofcourse in diplomatic way.
