No fighters for pakistan: Russia

'Negotiation' step only takes place when both the Govts, seller and buyer, has agreed to the deal. So saying that there is no possibility of Su35s in PAF is indeed premature but having said that we are even not sure how much PAF has actually shown desired or officially requested Russian Govt for the sale. So for now, all such news of Su 35s for PAF in nearby future are so over rated.

TO ALL THE GENIUSES FROM ACROSS THE BORDER - it's education time:

Expression of Interest (EOI) "in" the product, is the first step, followed by:
- Studying and analysing/reviewing the product; and
- Assessing whether it meets the needs/requirements of the buyer;

"IF" the above checks out, then comes, Expression of Interest to "buy" the product;

"THEN" and "IF" the owner/manufacturer is willing to sell, comes the step involving "negotiations".

Hope the intelligent members of this forum understand what I'm trying to say above.

At the moment, we are only interested "in" the product. Step one.

During the Army 2016 exhibition, Maj. Gen Ahmed had told RIA Novosti that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was interested in the Sukhoi Su-35

Boys at PAF would be laughing at us (PDF) members.

There is a higher probability of Su-35 being sold to China and then it being sold to Pakistan after couple of years. This is the most probable route, IF the plane is coming to Pakistan.

Well again, Iffff, it has to be like SU-35 in Pakistan then why not to go directly for approval of such sale though if any flanker has to make it to PAF, I would love to see Chinese Flanker in PAF with permission of Russia. Such probability has no source yet or anything in substance.

Did it ever occur to anyone here, Pakistani or Indian, that by expressing it's "INTEREST IN" SU 35, Pakistan wanted to assess the extent to which Russia was willing to go with respect to it's relationship with Pakistan?

And from all the news that has come after this expression of interest by Pakistan "IN" SU 35, nothing has come officially to the effect that "Russia has declined to offer SU 35s to Pakistan".

The only thing that has come is:

1) Pakistan expressing it's interest "in" SUs; and

2) Russia stating that it is not in negotiation with Pakistan regarding SUs.

The fact of the matter is that Russia has "yet" to officially respond to Pakistan's officially communicated expression of interest in SUs.

I hope that the monkey dance by both sides would stop after this.

Oh, do not think I am trying to ridicule the Su-35 coming into PAF colours. If not the PAF, the Chinese version of the Flanker will. At the end of the day, it is business. Russia does big business with India and with China. It does not want to give China the top end of the tech and yet wants to sell. It does not want to anger the Indians and still sell a few Sukhois. Why not sell the Chinese a Su-35. This will be one level below the Russian higher end. Chinese use it and learn from it for couple of years and then sell it to Pakistan or sell Pakistan their version of it. But, all this I see completed if CPEC is completed. I do not want to go off topic here. But, if CPEC is completed it is in China's interest to provide the Chinese flankers at ridiculously low rates to the PAF.

This news will break the heart of most famous su35 fanboy @Zarvan
Keep believing that in reality a Major General of Pakistan Army who is in charge for procurement for our Armed Forces and Air Force officers along with Government officials are in Russia discussing SU-35. So you keep falling for these lies until Russia itself announces the deal

Su-35s are not a little expensive for pakistan?
I also have the same idea.
China-Russia deal on Su-35 :
China has signed a contract to buy 24 Sukhoi Su-35 multipurpose fighter jets from Russia, becoming the first foreign buyer of the advanced warplane, according to manufacturer Rostec. The deal, estimated to be worth $2 billion, is a significant boost to Russia’s arms exports.
“The long negotiation on the Su-35 sale to China has been completed. We have signed a contract,” Sergey Chemezov, the head of the Russian state-owned high-tech giant Rostec, told Kommersant business daily.

Chemezov didn’t disclose the details of the deal, but Kommersant cited sources in the Russian arms industry as saying that China had purchased 24 Su-35s at a price of about $83 million each.

The Su-35 (designated Flanker-E+, not to be confused with the Su-27M, which used to be called the same name before its discontinuation) is a long-range “4++ generation” fighter jet. It is armed with an internal 30mm cannon and has 12 hardpoints with a combined capacity of 8,000 kg, compatible with a wide range of unguided and guided missiles and bombs.

China , due to it's former infrastructures of Su-27 and Su-30MKK doesn't need Russian protection of Training pilots , Aerial simulator and etc since they have copied Su-27 and also Su-30 named as Shenyang J-11 , 15, 16 , will pay almost 85 mil $ per fighter. It can cost almost 110 mil $ per fighter for PAF. That will be too expensive man.

I feel sorry for you but this is not lie. Wake up dude.

Su-35s are not a little expensive for pakistan?

No, not much. They have the best performing stock market in the world, and CPEC will attract 150 billion USD as FDI. I'm sure they can afford a few squadrons of $100 million fly away price jet, with an average expense of $35,000.00 flight per hour cost per jet.

And I feel sorry for you bro. Russia is lying to you and in reality they are discussing the deal with us our officers are discussing SU-35 and other weapons with Russia but until than keep falling for these lies.

Su-35-Wallpapers8_0_0.jpg I say if PAF is going to bear it's price , buy it under license production in Pakistan. It's better if Pakistan is able to do so.

Its Russian official representative confirming , not India.

Well, Russia selling weapon is not going to be influenced by any other purchaser for sure and that is what I expressed in earlier posts. Also, we are currently dealing in RD-93 engines, an overhaul facility at PAC for the same and MI Helis. Rest about SU-35, it is still, as i said, a news regarding Pakistan interest in SU-35 and I am sure, ifffff there is any interest (for the sake of arguments) then indeed the officials knows the circumstances, aftermath and any possibility of Indian Lobby and outcome. After all, it is always about business/money, geopolitics a bit and nation interest at most.

Indeed CPEC is progressing and day is not far to be completed. I don't know what you are implying by stating that Chinese will use it and learn from it etc. There are many things not available for public, especially when it comes to Pakistan and Chinese procurement and weapons so I would believe anything on the day as officials shared a word on such subject however, as ACM said in near past, we have the options from East and West both that we are looking at so who knows whats next.

IMO, if it has to be through China then I would prefer Chinese Flankers because we are very use to deal with China, we understand the norms of our dealings among us, we feel easy and trusted when it comes to China supply and no sanction doubts as well as economically and our riders have a standard information on Chinese Flankers as well.

Whether it is going to be Russian Flanker or Chinese, still things have to be materialized and picture is not clear yet with no solid substance but mere news and quotes however, I am sure, as soon as PAF feels the necessity of dual engine, long range bird due to the threat from Rival, there will be shift in policy and there will be counter measures as well and who knows, if things are changing within house but we will be seeing some development as soon as Rafale is finalized and coming in Indian colour.

There could be many ways, ifffff SUs have to come in PAF like not to anger India, hand them over to China and then pave a way to end it in PAF or allow China to export their own made version of Flanker to Pakistan with copyright fee or China helping Pakistan procuring SUs through assurance of payment from us and assurance of after sale service from Russia etc but all these are just the wild guesses and will be coming though. There were talks about our interest in EFT as well and few are still in hope to see that bird so in the end, both birds are capable and lethal as well as beautiful but whether any of them will make it or not, only time will tell and I am more interested for official statement in such subject.
