MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russia’s arms seller Rosoboronexport (part of the state tech corporation Rostec) will demonstrate kamikaze drones and the Su-57E export version of the fifth-generation fighter jet at the Vietnam Defense 2022 show that will be held in Hanoi on December 8-10, the company’s press office announced on Monday.

"The single Russian exposition will include more than 400 military, civilian and dual-use products developed and manufactured by leading Russian enterprises, including those affiliated with Rostec," the press office said in a statement.

At its display stand, Rosoboronexport will exhibit a full-scale model of the Orlan-10E unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), as well as a family of Russian-made UAVs, including the Orlan-30, a new product of 2022, the Orion-E reconnaissance/strike unmanned aircraft system and the Kub-E loitering munition, it said.

Visitors to the defense show will also be able to view "a Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, Su-35 and Su-30SME supermaneuverable fighters, an Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, a Ka-52 scout/attack helicopter, a Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter and a Ka-28 shipborne anti-submarine warfare helicopter," the statement reads.

Rosoboronexport will also feature Buk and Tor surface-to-air missile systems, the Pantsyr-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile/gun system, Verba and Igla-S man-portable air defense systems suitable for building up air defenses at various levels. Electronic warfare assets, including those designed to counter various unmanned aerial vehicles, will also be on display, the press office said.

Russia’s armor at the Vietnam Defense 2022 show will be represented by T-90S and T-90MS main battle tanks, the Terminator tank support fighting vehicle, the TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system, the upgraded Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, Khrizantema and Kornet-EM anti-tank missile systems, it said.

"Rosoboronexport partners from Southeast Asia are expected to pay increased attention to the Sprut-SDM1 light amphibious tank and BT-3F and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, which have excellent capabilities to clear water obstacles," the statement reads.

The Kalashnikov Group will feature its AK-200 family of assault rifles, the AK-15 and AK-19 automatic guns, as well as the latest 9mm PPK-20 submachine gun, the Chukavin semi-automatic sniper rifle and the 9mm Lebedev pistol, the press office said.

"Russia and Vietnam build their relations based on long-standing traditions of friendship and mutual respect. Rosoboronexport supports the development of bilateral strategic partnership and makes every effort to strengthen military-technical cooperation between our countries," the press office quoted Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev as saying.

At the Vietnam Defense 2022 show, the Rosoboronexport delegation will discuss cooperation in the field of industrial partnership and the construction of infrastructure facilities with its Southeast Asian partners, he said.

"We have unique competencies in this area and our proposals are backed by successfully completed and functioning projects on the customers’ territories," the Rosoboronexport chief executive said.

Maybe, Vietnam can get some Su-57E to deter China's J-20, haha.

Russian equipment is poor. Ukraine has shown this.
Theor military strategy is backwards
It's not their equipment that is poor but the huge corruption present in their army. If funds for the military's maintenance just vanish in the pockets of the contractors then you're bound to have a under powered military with sub par equipment.
Also their old af military doctrine, tanks romaing without infantry support as an example and soldiers being understaffed and nit properly equipped.
Also Ukraine is using the same soviet era equipment on a large scale with success.
Russia has to change their whole flawed kleptocracy and replace the Oliogarchs.
Russian equipment is time and tested all over the world since a decade or so not the best but cost efficient and Russia is more willing than the west to share their tech for a price.

Given the poor performance of russian systems - i dont see how people will risk their countries security by buying russian junk now!!!!

It is the people, not weapons to be the decisive factor, unless you are the US and yout enemies are the likes of Afghanistan or Somalia.

North Korea army with all its old weapons can still easily crush South Korea army. One example is the artilery exchanges some years ago, where South Korea's K9 Thunder SPHs were silenced by the North old artilery.

And North Vietnam with fewer tanks, fewer aircrafts of poorer quality, mostly from USSR and China, could still easily beat South Vietnam' army in most battles, even with the direct support of the US troops before 1973.

The quaiity of engineers, mechanics as well as the end users to repair, improve the efficiency and use the weapons right during the battle is also important. Theoreticalky, Soviet missiles could not shoot some kind of American aircrafts, but the North Vietnamese
did such tasks successfully, both by the talent engineers who improved the missiles and by the soldiers who fired them in an innovative method.

No normal country will buy Russian military hardware. The Ukraine war has exposed russia as a farce and its military technology primitive.

Why not. a chinese invasion of Vietnam is very possible. You say you want to invade Taiwan but in reality you want to integrate us into the chinese empire.

That is part of the reason why Russia wanted at least the industrial center of Ukraine back to Russia. The Area around Donbas and Zaporizhzhia

Notice that Russia, as a country, did not have an expanded military portfolio, there weren't many military equipment that was made in Russia, most of the stuff that Russian company made are either an upgrade version of the old soviet equipment (eg Flanker series fighter) or simply just remake the old soviet weapon, there are a few exceptions (Like S-500 or T-14 tank for example) but those aren't picking up since the economy of Russia cannot support such a big project.

That's in turn because soviet industrial base is separated between Russia and Ukraine. At one hand you have Mikoyan or Suhoi in Russia but Antonov is in Ukraine. Tanks are split between Malyshev in Kharkiv and Omsk and Kirov plant in Russia. Russia is getting a little more than half of the industrial strength of the old Soviet Union while the other split between Belarus and Ukraine.

Keep delusional and paranoid. Taiwan is Chinese, dont talk nonsense. China doesnt really care if you want to be isolated in the region, and stay out of Chinese influence and supply chains in the region. The only thing China will not allow to happen is if Vietnam get into anti-Chinese military alliance with countries such as US and Japan and use Vietnam as a base to attack or threaten China.

Interested in the drones.
Vietnam should definitely check the Iranian drones and make domestic versions.
