Agreement Done Myanmar will buy JF-17... Dunya news

I don't know if you ever read my posts on other threads or not, but I've been saying it for over a year, that Pakistan in 2017 will start to become a different country than what it is today. Many economy, trade and defense related business deals are making its way to Pakistan. The sooner the country achieves peace and stability, the better. The economic growth in about 3 years will be going into a vertical climb on Mach 1!

i don't think its a good idea selling those guys the JF-17, for a country that prides itself in being an islamic republic you're willing to sell warplanes to a country whos army has killed and tortured thousands of muslims and threatens a neighbouring muslim country, Pakistani's are just hypocrites and this is coming from one of your own ppl. Our mentality is so cheap that were willing the fulfill the demands of other airforces by knocking on there door like a salesman when our own pilots are dying every month flying half a century old aircraft that should have been replaced over 2 decades ago. This country has no future.

we have a beggers mentality once we see the opportunity to make money we're willing to sellout our own brothers to make a buck. so many pilots have been killed flying mig-21s and mirages that the PAF/government only cares about sales pitches to other countries so they can build mansions off so one elses hardwork.

The only thing Islamic happening in this country happens to males when they are kids. Any person living in the delusions that Islam has ANYTHING to do with the decisions of any "Islamic" country should go drown in a chullu of water.

How is Israel a threat to our existence? A country whose 3000 Km away and shares no border with us. Last time i checked it was TTP who killed 50,000 Pakistanis.

i do not think india or pakistan can afford to be too picky about our external partners.

i hate to put it - you need to have some morals.

you can maintain diplomatic relations and conduct trade with Burma. Selling combat aircraft without any iron clad assurances is going a little too far.

Burmese government has a brutal record versus ethnic minorities - far more brutal than anything India or Pakistan have ever practiced. this includes Pakistani army behavior during 1971

THE pak army in 1971 under niazi comitted horendous crimes against bengalis but so did indian troops, i have a close friend whos father served as a medic for the IA in bengal and he said that large groups of indian soldiers, would go out during the night to local villages dressed in pak uniforms and proceed to rape the women.

Ofcourse you will be when someone comes along and states the obvious.

Oh yes, I forgot Argentina from the previous list.

2017 ! Isn't 70 years too late ? Should have been in 1947. Wasted decades.

Dude, I wasn't even born in 1947. And 1947 was post WWII so there wasn't much growth. However, looking at the picture in Pakistan, you guys did waste many decades under the military rule, the few little times the civilians were allowed to form governments through votes, either they weren't allowed to finish by the military under different disguises, or the political system was so corrupt that it wouldn't have made a difference to grow plants, let alone a country. But if the democratic system was allowed to progress, after a term or two (similar to what's happening now since Zardari's term), the system would've started to clean itself, more visibility, more press, media. So you'd have advanced a LOT if the decade under musharraff was to be a decade under civilian rule. But its not late, 2017 is around the corner and time has come. Work hard, stay friendly and peaceful, keep your country stable and the foreign investment and defense orders will pour in. Pakistan has a great future soon, if it stays away from terrorism and violence!

Thank you. I truly appreciate it. Someone just a few months ago, asked me something on a political thread, where I was opposing the violent sit ins and all. He said, you know we hate your posts and you are interfering with our posts and politics, why don't you quit writing. My response was, if ONE person becomes positive (in your case, you and whoever else), and understands the positive attitude brings success and negative people, politics are not needed for Pakistan, my work here is done and my time is well spent. I think you've made me realized that I did do something good.

It is time for Pakistan and Pakistanis to let go of what they've been taught over the decades, "intolerant", if you don't agree with someone, he or she doesn't have a real mandate, murders and killings happen on disagreements, (MQM as one example and Taliban another one, both have killed thousands of people), political instability on disagreements means attacks on the Parliament, bad mouthing political opponents, attacking public welfare places, getting innocents killed, sit ins and all that result in billions of loss over a few days. ALL THESE need to be a part of black history.

The economic activity and clock has started to run, its time for Pakistanis to change their future like the Indians did. Opportunity is RIGHT around the corner, only 3 years away. Its time to become tolerant and positive, anyone with negativity about "rigging", "corruption", and other conspiracy theories, without proof, need not to be paid attention to. Heads down, hard work as the opportunity comes and everyone's goal should be, to turn Pakistan into the top 20 economies in the next decade. Its doable, just requires, peace, stability, tolerance and positive worth ethic!

Exactly Economy is the key factor. The Pakistan you see in 2017 is here in 2015 .

Waiting for some more good news as some senior members claims that "there are some more news to come" :-)

Oh there is a LOT of more good news to come. As the economy improves, your nation keeps the peace, stability and a good work ethic closer to your heart, a LOT is coming. Pakistan as soon as it overcomes 80% of the electric generation issues by the end of 2016, will be getting a decent chunk of tech and manufacturing business from China and other countries. Watch the rock and roll economic fest as it unfolds starting in 2017 (and some even before)

And this is what you will get from Pakistan.

LOL, you are being a party pooper. So the Pakistanis will become the "Pirates of the Carribean"?? or the "Pirates of the Indian Ocean" from a strong and growing economy's standpoint :toast_sign:

Nope, they will squander this and all other opportunities like they have before being busy in their petty squabbles.

A change in govt might help may be Imran Khan

This is going to be off topic but bear with me, and I only want you to reply to it(means others will get their posts deleted or worse).
Today, India is being derided for a supposed culture of Rape.. do you believe that a change of government will fix this? Is it something wrong with the BJP government that rape is taking the limelight or perhaps there is truly an ill.. howsoever small a section it may be.. that is within the society that is behind it?

Sir here i believe that if you look at rape statistics worldwide per population density India is well off than sweden , uk , usa and many more.
Not that i am justifying rape its heinous crime and should be cribbed by brute force , when laws are made strict and prosecution is swift things will improve , sad its a world wide problem.

But regarding economic growth a good visionary leader can inspire whole nation putting resources to good use.

But why do think it happens, leave India.. any society worldwide?
And how did Modi come to power and not congress? What changed in India that they elected a person with a vision?
