Palestinians clean up debris inside the al-Aqsa Mosque following an attack by Israelis on November 5, 2014.

Thu Nov 6, 2014 2:10AM GMT

Jordan says it is ready to make efforts in order to “stop Israeli attacks” against the al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Jordanian Ambassador to the United Nations Dina Kawar sent a letter to the president of the UN Security Council on Wednesday, slamming Tel Aviv’s “outrageous actions” against Islam’s third-holiest site.

"Jordan considers such serious and outrageous actions by Israel an unprecedented escalation," Kawar said.

The Jordanian representative noted the recent recall of its ambassador in Tel Aviv, saying, "This is without prejudice to any further lawful steps and measures that Jordan will be taking to stop Israeli attacks against the Haram al-Sharif.”

Palestinian envoy to the UN Riyad Mansour also reacted to the Israeli regime’s actions against al-Aqsa, saying the Security Council must call on Tel Aviv to “stop all these activities and policies of provocation and incitement."

Earlier in the day, clashes took place between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters at the site.

After meeting with Australian Ambassador Gary Quinlan, whose country chairs the Security Council this month, Mansour told reporters that the Israelis entered the holy site without taking their shoes off, an “extremely provocative" action.

"They are trying to push the region into religious confrontation," he noted.

The mosque has recently been a scene of clashes between Palestinian worshippers and Israelis.

Israel closed the al-Aqsa Mosque compound to Muslim worshippers a day after a 32-year-old Palestinian, Moataz Hejazi, made an attempt on the life of Yehuda Glick, an American-born Israeli settler, on October 29.

The Israeli rabbi ran campaigns for expansion of Israeli access to the mosque.

The al-Aqsa compound, located in the Israeli-occupied Old City of al-Quds, is a flashpoint holy Islamic site. The location of the compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount, is the holiest site in Judaism. The mosque is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

100,000 civilians killed by Assad forces since 2011: report | Middle East Eye

Now go take to a Amsterdam cafe order some weed and reflect.

So a Pakistani hates TTP because they kill his people, hates Assad for killing people decides to support the same people he hates (TTP/ISIS) because they destroy Syria and kill some SAA forces whilst they also massacre the same Sunni Syrians he cries about killed by Assad.

Explain

LOL. PressTV :D

Jordan recalls its ambassador to Israel over Jerusalem 'violations' - Diplomacy and Defense Israel News | Haaretz

Jordan on Wednesday recalled its ambassador to Israel in protest against what it described as Israeli "violations" in Jerusalem and its holy sites, the Jordanian state news agency reported.

The decision to recall Walid Obeidat was taken "in protest at the increasing and unprecedented Israeli escalation in the Noble Sanctuary, and the repeated Israeli violations of Jerusalem", the news agency said.

At a joint press conference held in Paris with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judah said his country's recall of its ambassador to Israel was "an indication of seriousness of situation... We have sent repeated messages to Israel... .that Jerusalem is a red line."

Also, Jordan's Minister of Information, Mohammed al-Momani said: “It is impossible to keep quiet about what happened today. Approximately 200 members of Israel’s security forces broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque, chased worshippers, caused damage and broke doors. It’s impossible to remain silent about this, so therefore we have announced the return of our ambassador in Israel for consultations.”

Don't worry.
Everything will come together like two bits of bread and jam spread.

Will explain some other day. After all people like you are ignorant enough to use the word "wahabi".
Wahab is a name of God. Play with it like that and you deserve nothing less than to die whether you have
Iraqi or Pakistani.

He's sectarian extremist but doesn't like it when people give him a taste of his own medicine. I actually reached out to him in one of his threads. And asked him to tone down his sectarian rhetoric so I could support his cause and he ignored it.

Nothing to explain, it's just failed logic you can't explain, you will ignore this..

No attack on Israel anytime soon. But, Jordan is playing it well right now. Israel is choosing an extreme policy lately which will get it isolated in the region.

ahahaha.....Jordan? First time im even hearing them saying any words in internationa relations. Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran yes, But Jordan? Israeli policemen alone can take on their army and win.:omghaha:

Anyway Jordan is an American/western sub contractor/baby. They wont dare do anything the U.S doesnt approve of. So they should just stay calm/quite/invisible/insignificant like they have been doing for decades now....shhhhhhhhhhhh........:D

The Jordanian efforts with regards to Jerusalem have been relatively successful.

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received a telephone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during which he asserted Israel’s commitment to defusing tension and restoring calm to Jerusalem, especially at Al Aqsa Mosque and Al Haram Al Sharif compound.

Netanyahu asserted Israel’s respect of the Hashemite custodianship of the holy sites in Jerusalem and the historic role of Jordan, in pursuance of the Jordanian-Israeli peace agreement, expressing the Israeli government’s commitment not to alter the status quo at Al Haram Al Sharif and Al Aqsa Mosque, according to a Royal Court statement.

King Abdullah reiterated Jordan’s rejection of any Israeli measures that may threaten or undermine the sanctity of the holy mosque, endanger the shrine, or lead to changing the status quo of the holy site.

Earlier in the day, Jordan filed a complaint with the UN Security Council calling for action to halt the Israeli practices in the occupied city.

It's already isolated. But it doesn't matter. Uncle Sam is a die hard supporter and all Arab nations are currently firmly within his grasp.

Well bro to be honest your Pakistanis brother summed it all pretty well: 'Jordan is only ready to be part of a american or any western coalition that will fight Muslims.'

He isn't that far off though with that statement.Thing is Jordan is simply too small and insignificant to be able to do anything much. It has basically no say in what happens in the region. Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Egypt are the main players who at least have a say/influence in the region, even though all of them are subordinate to the U.S as well(well, bar Iran). Jordan is not only under the U.S in addition to this, it has no real influence/say in the region.

I dont see this as a negative thing though, since its a good policy to remain neutral and distance yourself from any trouble in the Arab/mulsim world since its very complex/complicated and can get you into trouble when you make the wrong decisions, like Turkey is finding out with Syria today. So Jordan should keep out of any trouble/remain silent like it has been doing for years. Never change a winning policy.:D
