Who are they ??

You can't understand who are they? Forget it your never will unless you come out of your shell.

you tell me since you seem to support Talibans and extermist ideaolgy ?

Two people started giving suggestions about how to minimize the threat to human lives regardless of their religion one was Fundamentalist who has been called a Jahidi and now you have conveniently labeled me as a supporter of Taliban, someone gives a suggestion and you act as if Krakatoa has erupted. This actually gives a clear indication of your level of tolerance towards others.

Islam is not an irrational or emotional religion, everything is based on logic and logic says you are bound to get hit on an event like this.

Please show me where does it says in Islam you are bound to get hit on an event like this ??

Please, Read again and this time with your eyes open.

You have explained your self by defining Moharam processions as cultural rituals , this is some thing which will incite more hatred so try doing the right thing instead of coming up with this silly cermon of urs where you are saying some thing above and contradicting yourself later. !!

Its not farz however a great deal of people beleive in it they do it its a part of their culture

and then we talk of contradictions.

you again as you prety much clearfied in your statement in a hipocritical manner that have more problem with Moharam processions than any thing ,and just because your cousins shop is burnt ,you are protesting here to stop Processions.

Shop got burnt :rofl::rofl:
45 people died Mr.Haq & Batil

I was under the impression that I'm having a conversation with a mature person who understands the complexities of things and looks at them from a much broader spectrum.
But you still haven't been able to comprehend what is going on in your own country it will be close to impossible for me to educate you on that now. When people don’t have anything relevant to say they start personal attacks just to show the level of their maturity.

Thanks for your time and your liberal thoughts.

^^^maybe this has already been taken up in this thread, if so pls accept my apology.

after discussing the arson of bolton market with a few people who belong to the 'memon community', the shop-owners of bolton and other adjacent markets were offered 'relocation' to the national highway, so that this area could be 'razed down' and a highway/flyway/overpass constructed to link the port to the northern highway so that all heavy vehicles dont ply on city roads.

depending on their business, owners were offered upto Rs, 1 crore as compensation but most all refused the offer as too low.

now one can understand the 'windfall' which the local/provincial govt expected if they were successful in the plans for the 'progress/uplift/modernization' of karachi - and the ensuing 'kickbacks' related to this project.

the 'ease' with which the arsonists torched the shops. clearly shows that these 'criminals' had the protection of the people in power. this is not about non-state elements but 'elements' supported by the govt in power to once again 'crush' the people in the name of 'progress', and make a 'buck' while doing it.

one can make their own conclusions when the police station located in the 'middle' of bolton market remains 'un-touched/un-torched' while the whole market is gutted.

What foreign agents or TTP were looting and setting fire to the shops? they were all Pakistanis.

use your brain a bit, you cannot disregard the notion that there may have been agent provocateurs on hand ready to spread the flames?

Malik said people who set fire to shops, markets and vehicles after the blast were among the terrorists. He pointed out that arsonists had equipment on hand to set fire to buildings moments after the blast took place.

how many of these suicide bombings have happened where basically nothing new has been discovered and the enemy has gotten away?

atleast we people on the forum need to keep our heads and not go into name calling!!

at this rate pakistan will be such a mess that our nukes will go into international safeguard (i.e. us control) and there will be nothing left of our country

when all else fails use calmness, rationality, and facts - LEARN TO LISTEN AND DEBATE ONE ANOTHER LIKE HUMANS NOT ANIMALS

TTP denies hand in Karachi procession attack

KARACHI: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Thursday denied any involvement in the Karachi Ashura procession attack which killed 44 people and left dozens others injured.

Azam Tariq, the TTP spokesman, denied having any involvement in the attack and said militant commander Azmatullah Shaheen's claim was baseless and that he 'acted on his own will'.

The TTP, said Tariq, does not target public places in Pakistan.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Asmatullah Shaheen, a top militant commander based in South Waziristan told news agencies by telephone that the TTP was behind the attack, warning that they would carry out more such attacks and also target government installations.

Watch this. Just look at how comfortably they are setting fire, at shops cars and whatever they find. If anyone meet them be sure to put fire on them

I would rather give discredit to pakistani media for all this confusion and mess.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik Monday said that the blast in the mourning procession on Yaum-e-Ashur was not a suicide blast; the 80 to 85 percent investigations in this connection have been completed and its report would come to the fore in a couple of days.

Talking to media after attending a high level meeting on Karachi situation, he said Karachi City Government was not found negligent in connection with the Karachi tragedy, adding there is no disaster management infrastructure in the country.

The Rangers works in sync with the police but they are not authorized to open fire, he added.

Responding a question, he said he does not want to take anybody’s name; the people having criminal record are involved in the Karachi tragedy, adding someone did cause all this to happen.

The federal minister said the people intent on terrorism want to destabilize the country, as these elements consisting of enemies of Pakistan have been doing the same in the past.

Commenting on target killing, he said it would not be put up with at all, adding a high level committee has been instituted to review these incidents.

He added the common men were made victims in these target killings.

The interior minister said police and the Rangers would go on joint patrol in Karachi.

^^^^^^^^^^^

That's strange. I thought that they awarded a medal or some recognition to a security person for falling on the suicide bomber and saving more damage then occured.....
