They have and are, but I would like to see Aselsan and Vestel co-operate in further developing OLED screens. Vestel has working OLED displays, all that Aselsan would need to do is ruggedize them to mil-spec.

You know what ?.. I thought the same thing but forgot to write it... I mean not specific thoughts like OLED screens but co-operating with VESTEL in general...

Turkish engineers produced A steel vest of 300 gr by composite materials which is proof against 200 bullets! same level steel vest can stand only against 6 bullets...



also same company produced an dress which is proof against 2000 degrees temperature and thermal cameras can't see it...



two these products just for Turkish army so it is forbidden to export because of its unique and secret technologies...

Guys i wanted to correct some misunderstanding.

It's called "bulletproof vest" not "steel vest" (Turkish English). There are no steel components in this vest.

What i wonder is if they include more layers can it withstand to larger calibers ?
