You are mixing up Mughal and Turkic, Ghilzais are Turkics not Mughals. Mughal is persian rendition of Mongol, Mongols are distantly related to Turkics like Jews to Arabs.

Like @Azlan Haider has pointed out Rajputs claim descent from deities so it is hard to pin point their actual origin since they documented that they were sons of the fire or moon. Most people think white huns who settled in South Asia.
