Stealthier than the prototype type 053H3. It is based on the last generation combat ship of China, so not comparable to type 054A and 056 on stealth design.

Its an excercise buddy,for practicing search and rescue, joint
communication and coordination. Infact a parade was planned for chinese premier,but was cancelled.Indian naval ship to hold drills with Chinese, Pak vessels - The Economic Times on Mobile
