Andaman has the potential to be a hub for exports and imports, Since India-ASEAN trade balance is in favor of India. we need to set up ports close to the vicinity of these countries.

One way for trade connectivity is from Myanmar road connectivity, the other way is from sea. Exports from south India can be directed through the sea and can be done easily.

Won't that alter the lives of those people permanently?

There are close to 500 Islands and setting up cities in one or two will not alter much
