JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia : A service truck crashed into a passenger lounge of Jeddah international airport in Saudi Arabia, killing two Iranian pilgrims and injuring four others, reports said on Friday.
The truck, driven by a Nepalese man, careened through the glass panes of the King Abdulaziz International Airport terminal on Thursday, the reports said, citing the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority.
The Iranians had been waiting to board a flight to Tehran after pilgrimages to the Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
Iran’s Arabic-language Al-Alam television said the two passengers who died were in their sixties and that two of the four injured were treated on the spot and able to travel, while the other two were hospitalised.
The Nepalese truck driver was arrested and an investigation launched into the accident, the Saudi media reports said. -- AFP

The only victim of this accident are two Iranians and that Nepali driver.

Poor chap would soon get death penalty under Saudi laws.Don't see as to how could he had been set up to do this.

We are talking Saudi, so don't expect anything logical. They have done much worse to their workers in the past.
They might think killing Iranians "accidentally" might send a message to Tehran! Don't you remember just few days ago, they discovered an "Iranian spy ring"?! Just after we caught their "drunk murderous driver"?

I don't really know what there is in Saudi to spy on? Deserts? Camels? Nuclear camels?

You think money has nothing to do with this. Saudis could have given him enough money so that his family can live happily ever after. Secondly i doubt that he will be sentenced to death as they can easily portray this as an accident.

We are just speculating, as nothing is certain. However to answer your questions.

1- Use your imagination, they could have promised him that his family would be set for life. But making someone do something is not necessarily through promise of riches or intimation, it could be ideological reasons, they could have brainwashed him, what we are discussing is probably far-fetched but you can't eliminate any possibility when you're dealing with Saudis, they, after all believe in 72 virgins and bunch of other silly stuff. So these possibilities can't be ignored. And by the way, if what I'm thinking is true, its not about killing Iranians, its about sending the message, this is a power struggle, you have to understand this.

Sharia laws are neglected when there is no Saudi involved in the case. Even if he was to be executed, what I explained remains.
