You are not making sense. Let's do a count on people killed in India (Muslim & Christians) every year by Hindu terrorists in India and Kashmir. And then do a count on the 'rest of the world', people killed in different countries through Islamist terrorists. I bet you, your count is either bigger or the same as Islamists. So I think the world needs to get rid of both, the Hindu and the Muslim terrorists. You can't classify one terrorist a friend and mr. fine man vs. the other, the bad terrorist, the guy with a turban. Terrorism is terrorism. if you want to talk ground reality then thats fine here Pakistan's defense budget on paper is $ 6 billion officially but in reality & unofficially its close to $ 8 billion plus $2 billion for strategic command force (nuclear weapons program) thats $ 10 billion ! secondly about yields how can you say 1 British warhead is equal to 10 Pakistani warheads ? any credible link for that specially when its a well known fact that Pakistan have advanced & diversified its nuclear weapons program in both enriched uranium & plutonium fields considerably

It is not only Pakistan, but most countries have higher defense budgets than they have on paper.

Now lets not get into who defeated whom. The reality is India managed to bifurcate Pakistan, while Pakistan could not inflict the same damage on India.

Now you cannot compare India with a defense budget of USD 45 Billion with Pakistan's USD 6 Billion. If Pakistan has to match India it cannot match India with weapon for weapon, so nukes are the only hope.

But the biggest drawback of this nuke strategy is that Pakistan will increasingly become defensive force, while India's strategy will make it more and more offensive.
