I was just cracked up because of this sad news and then I saw this video here and was thinking about my own family and emotions started to come up. I am sorry, I know that I cant generalize any people by the acts of a few.

'Black man' caught in Varkala
thumbnail.php

VARKALA: The colony residents of Varkala who had sleepless nights for the past two weeks in the name of black man, finally caught a migrant worker with black mask on his face. Two others fled to safety.

A sword, iron rod and a blade have been recovered from him. The residents refused to hand over the black man to local cops as they wanted top officials to reach the spot. He was caught at 2 am Monday morning from Ambedkar Colony in Edava.

The black man talked in Hindi and his face was covered with a black cloth. For the past few days, this man continuously disturbed women and created a tense situation in houses. When the resident saw a three-member team coming they immediately switched off power. Soon they tried to flee the place but the residents caught one when two others fled.

It is suspected that the man caught is a Bengali(May be a Bangladeshi). People flocked in to see the black man caught. The police have taken the man to the police station. Details will be obtained only after questioning him.

Woooo internet tough guy, I'm so afraid.

Where did I say that this would increase security????

Delhi is just a shame, in the nation and infront of the world. I mean it cant even ensure the safety of women.... How can this city represent an entire nation?

Delhi is not worth it, just my humble opinion.

seriously man stop generalising the problem. I work in a large civil hospital in Mumbai. which happens to be in vicinity of dharavi. I can say you that we get cases of assault, rape, etc from all ethnic groups. criminal psyche is not a inborn attribute. just like nobody is born with moral values, but you have to instill them in the child as he/she grows up...
please refrain from making any more comments. you are making a fool out of yourself. thanks

dirty biharis and ups .... scum of India, scum of of humanity, deport them into the ocean.... filthiest people I have ever seen, now these scum is even invading my beautiful Kerala....

Koovie...shame on you

One crisis and we have started calling each other names.I am from Kerala and grew up in erstwhile Bihar now Jharkhand.I can vouch for a fact that Biharis are very fine people so is the case with people from UP.A few black sheeps don't make a community.

The act has to be condemed and the guilty should be punished and your anger is justified but by taking names of states you have crossed the red line.

Is rape and gangrape alien to Kerala.....I remember a case couple of year back where a minister or group of politicians were blamed for rape of the young girl in captivity.

Any rape from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Nagaland to Maharashtra has to be condemed in the same way.Our Females have equal right in this country and the independednce should not be conditional to them.

The problem with India is no one knows whome to blame for the problem...police and politicians are ones who comes to mind first. Each one should introspect oneself.....I am sure 9 out of 10 have molested some one at some point in their life or thought of doing the same.As long as my mother ,sister, daughter and wife is safe I can do any thing to other females. This sick mentality has brought us here.......just Introspect and you will have the answer.

ndtv 24x7 --> women harassed at jantar mantar during the anti rape protest by men there
I went to Jantar Mantar too..most of the men were idiots..and lemme tell you Pranab Mukherjee's son was correct too..Girls were dressed as if its a fashion show..clicking photos of them holding posters..heck i even saw one uploading her pic on Facebook through her phone..this generation..is ...sick!

i know lots been happening over last few month which make your blood boil..........but u got see the positve side of this.
All ppl are begining to be sensitive to social issues....few yr cases which would have been brushed under the carpet are evoking nationwide outrage..
Question are being asked to politicians & corrupt babus who once thought they untouchable by laws....Even the Law holders are being publicly scrutinized .......

This all remind me of the tata tea ad i saw while back......Hope yeh josh thanda na ho jaye......Its time 4 change sure it will take time but atleast we have started on that path with baby step

i dont know about criminal psychology but i know my psychology, I look more eagerly at a woman dressed in a revealing cloths than the one who is dressed modestly. similarly I tend to look at food more eagerly when i am hungry than when my stomach is full, and I look at BMW X6 more than 3 Series. but i have control some people dont have it and they will steal X6 only to get a joy ride. But some Liberals would say if a woman is dressed in sexy cloths doesnt mean she wants to have sex with everyone. I remember one toronto Cop got such a bad press because he told a woman if you are dressed like you are inviting rapist. So you cant tell woman not to dress and the rapist wont listen to your arguments. its catch 69

last night when i was watching the protests in t.v. i saw an interesting poster it says "you raped her because her dress provoked you?? i'll punch u because ur stupidity provokes me"
heres another interesting one

I am sure all rapists and criminals listened to you and now they will never do it again.
I should sleep with my door open, people should not get in other people houses.
and everyone will live happily ever after now

I think there should be regulation in selling of alcoholic beverages . Like limited quantity, bans and etc. The crime rate will reduce I am sure.
