What's against the law? Was he arrested for saying something? Who we let in our nation is another matter. What makes you think a second rate player of the world's stupidest "sport" is gonna rate special treatment?

Americans would definately not want anybody like Imran Khan to gain political support in Pakistan or elsewhere. Amerians like to keep "Basta4ds" on the top of the chair so they may control them and call them "Our Basta4ds". Obviously they would prefer Zardari and after him Nawaz Shareef to get that "medal of honor" but Imran Khan would be their least acceptable person.

But I am glad Imran Khan is pushing only as bareable by the USA's government at the moment. Pakistanis would have wished to have demonstration outside UN HQ against drones - but - it is nevertheless wiser to approach US Audience to speak to them, debate with them and convince them that if you really want peace in the world, stop creating menace.

I thank Allah for giving us a leader of this caliber and I am happy that politically Pakistan is on the right track.

Detaining him for questioning because his name popped up in the terror alert system is understandable, that happens to many people, they are held, questioned, their background is checked and then they are released upon statisfactory results.

But detaining him because of his political views seems very illegal. You can't just detain some one and question them on wheather their views are in line with the current US foreign policy. That is against any professional code of conduct and against law. I think he should lodge a complaint and raise hell about it.

Well, the bottom line is he stated that he favors dialog with Tribes and no drone attack
which angered man so they smeared him as a Pro Taliban

In reality in his interview he stated clearly that he favors democracy and education

They had a interview on CBS , canadian channel and they had a Jew interview him named Solomon
he kept trying to portray him as a Pro Taliban which he said no to and then he stated , do you think Canadians lost their soliders what do you say to that , was that all useless , Imran khan stated I think I favor dialog rather then military solution.

He was detained at departure to New York , which is very common for ALL muslims and Pakistanis
