Biggest deal: IAF may buy 189 jets for $20bn

Give me an answer on how are you going to make our Pvt players capable enough to help out HAL in manufacturing the MMRCA fighters in 3-4yrs?

we ask the vendor (eurofighter consortium or Dassault) to help the pvt firms manufacture MMRCA aircraft until they know themselves how do it we managed to manufacutre hundreds of MiG-21s with out knowing any technology in fighter jets because the Soviet union helped us manufacture the first batch then we learned and did it ourselves

this way our pvt firms have experience in 4.5 gen jet technology

For doing that we need to bring in all the Pvt companies wishing to establish themselves in defense manufacturing under a common Govt body... Result is same even then.

how so? Mahindra aerospace is pvt owned

If Pvt companies can do it by themselves then whats the difference between "Black market" and "Genuine Arms Market"

the OEM can help pvt company and why would they export to black market? look at companies like Northrop Grunman with the B-2 have they sold a B-2 spirit to any other country??? or Lockheed Martin have they sold a F-22 to another country???

You are wrong here again and again your statement is a big example of exaggeration .

Brazil F-X2 fighter competition has equal number of jets competing and all were same as india except 1, so you want to say that the same fighters competing in Brazil aircraft competition were just dummies lol

Look at the competitors

1) F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet (same in indian MRCA)

2) Dassault’s Rafale (same in indian MRCA)

3) EADS’ Eurofighter (same in indian MRCA)

4) Saab’s JAS-39 Gripen NG (same in indian MRCA)

5) F-16 block 60

6) Sukhoi’s SU-35 (instead of Mig-35)

Now what will you say?
brazil is going to buy only 36 jets, whereas india buys 126+ jets.

india will get ToT and local production for sure, whereas for the brazillian deal it is "negotiable" only.

p.s:any source which proves the bold part will be appreciated.

Whats wrong with what he said......The 6 of the best potentials were brought to test.........on 600 different parameters from high altitudes of Laddakh.......to the lower regions of Bngalore.........fromk minus temperatures of laddakh to 50 degree celcius of Rajasthan.....where in the whole world is such a competetion held??........All the best tech....available were offered......and the bidders tried their best....to bring their latest to convince the customers.......I don't see that in the Brazillian tender......where the jets came one by one to join in.......later.....and lots of political influence was used.......even planes like Su 35/SH came with degraded electronics.

lol and they told you that the jets are degraded version , hmm you have some approach lol , your post like many of your other posts is not worthy of replying, you seem to me a kid from school , who doesn't want to accept reality but continue to pursue others that he is right in whatever he says. Good luck with that

lol FX-2 has equal number of jets mean 6 jets were competing in that competition which is similar to the number of aircrafts competing in MRCA

mmrca tender has greater no.of jets (126+)compared to 36 of brazil's fx-2 program.hence fx-2 deal is smaller than mmrca deal.

ToT has never been the criteria for Brazilian tender, and their evaluation is driven by political pressure and not by technical evaluations. Their govt is heavily inclined towards F-18SH.

the point is mmrca tender still qualifies as "mother-of-all deals"
