RAFALE VS F-16 BLOCK52+

As things stand, I'd embrace Pakistan give them the strategic depth they crave in Afghanistan and get out. At the same time exert every effort to improve Pakistan's economy, give them a nuclear deal and plenty of military equipment to secure Pakistan against India.

Aren't you being the sore loser here?

The IAF down select documents have been sent to both LM and Boeing and if there is anything out of the ordinary they are free to appeal. So please stop this nonsense of MRCA process being a farce just because the Hornet did not make it.

Secondly just few days back a $5.1 billion deal for 10 C-17s has been signed along with a provision of 6 more if necessary. This in addition with the 6+6 Super Hercules and the 8+4 P-8Is.

More such deals like the ULHs, Attack Helis, Transport Helis, Torpedoes etc are in the offing. Still we don't trust you ? Just to prove our trust we need not award all the contracts to you.

And whats up wit this Pakistani love and threat to arm Pakistan if we are not subservient to US ? Its this precise mentality that makes us wary of the US. Trust is got based on mutual respect for each other as sovereign nations not based on threats. You two made love for half a century. Big deal.

Why convince?? ... MMRCA is a good decision India made.. lets better choose Rafale and just be how we exist so far.. we just need to grow in our economy ... we need to learn from China .. there is no free candies ... hard work pays.. US really made a huge back turn especially on N-deal.. a thing which shows US can never be trusted on high tech deals... not only US it is every one including Russia.. we have to develop our own capability and buy from a non risky nation which is France always

It is not a threat it is in the best interest of the United States of America. Our Afghanistan exit is easier with Pakistan on our side.
India has been a distraction, we'll chalk that down to one of many George 'W' mistakes.

Can you elaborate the bolded part?

Exactly. You do what is in the best interest of US but expect us also to do things in the best interests of US and cry/whine/threaten if we don't. As I said you two made love for half a century and we know what to do. Pakistanis don't trust you one bit and good luck feeling unwanted on both sides.

India has been a distraction, we'll chalk that down to one of George W's mistakes.

Dont worry DBC is just acting a lil' bit hyper because she was championing the cause of F-18 being the best of the best and is not able to handle the cold truth that EFT and Rafale are better than it..

It doesn't matter a bit what she thinks will be the future course of Ino-US relations. The high mandarins in the Capitol Hill think differently. Senate pushes Pentagon on US-India defence ties

Can you elaborate the bolded part?

What is there to elaborate? From the time Clinton mended ties with India, there has been little or no benefit to the United States.
MMRCA was not just a 11 billion dollar transaction, in terms of dollar value Boeing and LM won't even notice it but it is proof that India - US strategic ties is an untenable dream.

While protecting Indian interests in Afghanistan is costing us, my point is simple.

- close Indian 'consulates' in Afghanistan
- negotiate an 'exit' with Pakistan and the Taliban
- support Pakistan's military and economy
- paint a big red bulls eye on Indian Kashmir and redirect Jihadi ire.
- keep relations with India strictly business and end trade benefits to India.

So the other $ 12 billion in Transport aircrafts,Naval patrol aircraft, Howitzers, Helis, Missiles are not sufficient proof ? You are just being a sore loser.

  Jihadi bunnies can't do shyt in Kashmir. The LoC is locked and clamped down.

p.s.:- Are you Sarah Palin in disguise ? You seem to be as the intellectual intensity matches. :D

Hay DBC, you are losing your reputation here, this is not what we thought about you.And about J&K eye, you are now tasting their same ire which you 'direct' against Soviets. Do learn from one mistake, do not repeat it.

Any do you think Pakistani's will buy it? Again?
