US keeping a close eye on situation in Pakistan: Admiral Mullen

WASHINGTON: US chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Admiral Mike Mullen has said that Pakistan Army Chief, Gen. Ashfaq Pervez Kayani knows well “what is best for Pakistan” and what are its needs and problems*.

Talking to media here at Pentagon, Admiral Mullen said US is keeping a close eye on developments taking place in Pakistan and the ways to prevent the situation from getting worse*. This what US mission is all about, he added.

He termed Pakistan an important ally in war on terror and that the US-Pakistan military ties of are of strategic nature.

Admiral Mike Mullen said that now the right way of approaching Pakistan is through the newly elected democratic government.

Now we should look ahead of president Musharraf who no longer holds the office of the head of state, he asserted.

* Does Gen Kiyani - the Chief of Army Staff Pakistan, really needed such varification especially by an american Admiral???
Till date, it's obvious, A COAS of the country must be well awared, dadicated, brilliant minded determined professional who know that, “what is best for Pakistan” and what are its needs and problems - and I am assured that, Gen Kiyani would be like that, then why Admiral Mullen needed to endorse this, Was there any doubt behind the scene or any guilty conciousness or any hidden partnership behind that he then has to endorsing like, as he is appraising /defending his own ambessedor ??? the words from a person of such a high caliber, creating confusion...

* "US is keeping a close eye on developments taking place in Pakistan and the ways to prevent the situation from getting worse" , and keep their eyes closed from traitors generated and posted by their own self like B.Mehsud etc., to jeopardize the peace of area but whole region to making ground for US forces to intervene into that area, Keep her eye closed from the India funding and support to so called Taliban’s activists for terrorism in Pakistani area, keep her eyes closed from the combine activities of Israeli-Mosaad, British - MI6, and Indian RAW, support to promoting separatist activities in Baluchistan!!!

Dear, pkpatirotic sir,
I think, its been enough involvement by USA in PAKISTANI affairs, already
they got what they wanted, it will be very intersting to watch GEN. KIYANIs actions if once ZARDARI become PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN.

I guss, GEN. MULLEN and rest of PENTAGON morans wanted to back GEN.KIYANI , although its good for pakistan, but i guss , GEN KIYANI should remember the fact that, maybe some day he have to take out his uniform , same as MUSHARAF did.

Maybe, someday GEN .KIYANI had to face worse situation than what MUSHARAF faced in his last days, as COAS & PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN!!!
But still,i wish , GEN KIYANI ... VERY BEST OF LUCK FOR REST OF HIS LIFE
