If those boxes are full of ammo then it would really cruel. Most ammo boxes I've seen in training are less than half that size without the field pack, and not through mud.

Well they are recon troops attached to the marine brigades, so they're not your average grunt. I would say training for other units are nowhere as physically demanding.

Recon troops are a step below spec ops. There are a lot of recon troops in China

Now they already receive the same training. They are trained in all methods of insertion from parachuting, scuba, to powered gliders. They already can go by land, air, and sea.
