Why Bangladesh’s Matarbari port is a game changer for India

Take your illegals back to your country .

OMG

is there any hope of having civilised discourse on this forum?

Are South Asians destined to be thrash of humanity?

You can disagree and even insult with feint praise or joke.

But let’s stop the crude insults and name calling!!!

I want India and Bangladesh to work together despite differences and grievances.

Look where bitterness has got India and Pakistan. Both wasting huge amount of money and energy on brinkmanship.

I remember he claimed to be a Bihari. I personally do not care about that. Because I was brought up with them and I still have a good command of Urdu.

But, @Bilal9 has the mind of a Collaborator. This kind of people use sweet words but in reality are all against the 1971 war.
I think @Bilal9 is illegal bangladeshi living in India and has permanent residence in Bihari refugee camps in Bangladesh crossing borders regularly . In congress rule such people were free to come and go to bihar and bangal , after BJP came to power life of such illegal immigrants has become very difficult .

I don't want India's N-E to prosper unless and until India gives us a water sharing treaty for all 54 common rivers. Take transit, give water that's the motto recently.
Ha, ha, ha. I know our Mullahs are uneducated. So, they want to pull down the legs of other religionists who are successful. No wonder, no Muslim country ever developed economically. All are beggar countries.

But, can you pull down India’s Chandrayan on top your house just by wishing like an Uneducated Maulana vulture in the sky?

Why so jealous of NE people? Let all people prosper without hindrance and let our own people also prosper. But, are we prospering just by doing a few civil engineering projects with borrowed money from China and India?

Our Muslim Bangla remains at the lowest rung of everything called progress. All because the country is infested with Maulana people. Whereas Indian scientists (read HINDU) are sending Moon mission long before it has developed its NE.

Do you know the name of a Hindu named Chandrasekhar from India? NASA has sent one space observatory in his name called Chandra C-Ray Observatory.

Next time you should recommend for the @Bilal9 x-ray observatory. Stupid vultures have no credibility of their own but get jealous of others.

They think Bangladesh’s main purpose should be to hinder India.

These things can be easily handled via diplomacy.
You should ask for fair market access from us when you offer something that benefits us- in this case, a port, corridor.
What are your negotiators doing?

This is just a discussion forum. People in the govt level must be discussing the matters that will be fine/tuned gradually.

I believe goods from Matarbari will be delivered to and from Indian NE via two routes.

1) Via Matarbari-Meghna-Padma- Brahmaputra river navigation route to Meghalaya. From here the goods go to destinations in the NE.
2) A land /truck route via Matarbari-Chittagong-Feni-Tripura to Agartala. From Agartala the goods go their respective destinations in the NE.

Could there be a Sea/ river route to reach Agartala?

Listen!

Bangladesh cannot even take advantage of duty free access to China - which are extremely generous

Instead of whining about India why not export to China and EU?

In West Bengal, there are still many porous borders. Its time to arm local militias to keep vigilance across the border region.

We have to do the same. We have to arm our 6.1 million ANSARS with automatic rifles to deal with illegal Indians that come from across the border.

Here answers the big Mullah. Since you cannot learn anything worth why do not you spend time by watching the night stars where a big power is watching over you.

Only non-Muslims have the capacity to learn and we are here to get jealous of them. Christian Macron of France sells planes to BD, but why BD cannot produce a irrigation pump?

Our upper chamber is empty. I do not expect any technological development in BD in the next few million years. Well, it iis written in some Holy books.
