A loss in Gilgit by Pakistan army in 1971 no one talks about

Technically when Pakistan opened up the western front to try and “relieve” pressure from the east - it provided any and all avenues open. Even though the ratio of the armies was fairly close, there were not enough resources to look at every front and in this case ripe areas were to be exploited by India.

Strategically inept would be an understatement for the leadership of Pakistan

Even until Musharraf time, the two countries were fairly matched. With Musharraf fighting American war for few dollars, Pakistan has been pushed back so far behind that it will take us at least 20 years of constant economic progress to match India. Not just economic, India has built significant political muscle across the world.

If whatever was left after Musharraf, Bajwa made sure that too is destroyed. The GHQ occupies Pakistan and we must get rid of these occupiers. We need a strong army but one which is military arm of a civilian government.

Imagine one day waking up in Pakistan the next having Indian boots on the ground.....Never has an attempt be made to recover it. Our poor people.
Now they attack their own people.
We already have proxy amrikan boots on the ground in the form of this so called "Pakistan Army". amrikan boots or indian boots, what difference does it make?

A nasty army that sells its own people to the CIA. A nasty army that likes to polish US boots free of charge.

I will be celebrating when Pakistan defaults. That day is coming soon.

The boomer generals are begging the expats not to boycott their little empire. Crazy sons of bitches think that the expats are fools. Just have a look at the remittances. The expats are making a point. Not only in Western countries, but also GCC countries.

So apparently Pak Army just left without resisting/ fighting for it at all?

This cancer force is only good at beating and enslaving its own people, against a proper enemy, it surrenders like it did in 1971.

Another great achievement of Pakistan Army ! Loose half the country in 1971 and then give this area away as a bonus to Indian Army who helped saved these cowards from the encirclement of Bengali people ! The Cowards ran away from Bengal after the Bengali people rose up against their cowardly brutalities and rape and murders, and started chopping their heads of !

And what did the ppp and pmln accomplish in the following 10 years?

Even the Western "educated" idiots haven't been able to put together any sort of policy lower than their corruption.

Bhutto had a major hand in giving away one half of the country. and he emerged as an insanely popular populist political leader, managed army generals as servants. This has become a model since gen Zia for all the later military generals - Never let the country run by popular politicians.

It seems to me that Zia's dictatorial template is being followed by all the generals. It has become part of the psyche . These dimwits would rather worship a highly duffer/compromised chief than negotiate with an honest and ethical leader.

There is an indian police station and small settlement which is now in skardu region. It was occupied by us.
I'm forgetting its name but it's near shakma.

Koi nai Bhai, we will send youthia brigade to fight.

Wasn't this area not taken back after Shimla agreement because Pakistan didn't want to return territory won in Chamb sector because our military considered that region to be more strategically important than this one?

It started the 1965 war, 1971 war and 1999 war and lost each of them. My family knows martyrs from the Kargil war whose bodies were never recovered because the Pakistani kutte harami generals refused to acknowledge them. Indian muslim soldiers had to bury them.

No there were very small territorial exchanges. This pace is right next to a border.
The indian place is now in Pak and the indians are sitting across the next nala ... In the bottom of which we even have a post. So basically very hard to hit it from the indian side.
