Oil prices around the world have doubled and PK should go with that. I dont know why we kept on giving subsidies. Its kind of difficuilt to for awaam to understand that oil price isnt in govt control

Tigers here labelled me Patwari when I criticized PTI Leadership (including IK) doing politics on Exchange Rates and Petrol Prices against noon league when it has lots of stuff against them. Look what was result of this, Ishaq Dollar burnt billion$ to keep PKR overvalued and fcked reserves, took expensive loans and floated Euro bonds on high yield (BTW, it needs to be investigated that to whom he sold Euro bonds when he went on 2 days trip and announced success) which PTI had to payback, it also destroyed local industry and current account balance by indirectly subsidizing imports. So same taunts of exchange rate and petrol prices were used against him for 3.5 years, and paid media made people believe that PTI is bigger disaster.

Well that’s too much for me, no more travelling in my civic. Will start using a motorcycle instead. Screw this stupid government.
Motor Bike, are you serious.. I am thing of getting a mule.. :)

If a deal is reached then why was this done? Or if this is done deal was not done?

Does this mean there will be less kids showing off their motirbikes or one-wheeling in residential streets making all the freaking noise??
I feel sorry for those that will be impacted, but I hope it will also cut down on unnecessary driving around by so many……maybe for them the increase isn’t that much yet
How did they raise it only by 30 pkr per litre when actual raise was suppose to be around 80 or more??

I think they'll do it in stages, I also heard earlier that petrol would be costing around PKR 230 at the end of the day.

I do sense that lower quality petrol will also be available at pumps again.
