Indian Brahmos missle crashes in Mian Channo

Bhai.
At my age emotions dont carry much meaning. You have seen too much of this world and nothing surprises you. I have merely drawn parralels between 2 incidents. Brahmos invaded our air space as well and was in there for 3 minutes before fizzling out. The semantics of whether this-was essential aside one can logically draw parallels.
Also I am merely bringing to the fore the questions which require answering/ satisfying before the matter can be laid to rest. You are entitled to your opinion and for the most part I am in agreement that qe shouldinvestigate a little bit more before we jump up and down.
Regards
A

The whole scenarios requires intent which wasn't there from Indian side. If the intent would have been there they would have sent a barrage of missiles to take down a target not a lone stick.

The AD guys are trained to tell between an actual attack and a mistake. These mistakes (of ballistic variety) have happened between nuclear countries before (not us) and cool heads prevailed and the same thing happened here. Loosing your cool in a war or in relatively peace time and making emotional decisions is worst you can do and that results in death of your men and your people.

We should rather enjoy this that one of their top end missile malfunctioned like this. What happens if next time they actually have intent to fire it ends up in Delhi.

So ladies and gentlemen here are the facts

1) india the 6th nuclear power just accepted that their most advanced Russian cruise missile is unreliable and ineffective. Glasses of roh afzal (or something stronger) must be going up in the GHQ

2) in some places it has been reported that senior Indian contacts did inform the Pakistani counterparts

3) Pakistani defenses forces now have a good copy of the brahmose allowing us to save billions in r&d , I demand a better supersonic weapon that works with a range of at least 1200 kms be built in the next 2 years

4) Pakistan did not shot down the missile and SOPs need to be improved

5) Mian Channu is Pakistan we need to have the capability to defend our border cities buy more hq-9p

There is nothing left of the missile to look at besides the rear section. The tomahawks landed relatively intact, this is in a thousand pieces

I saw a lot of video with even some control electronics …..not sure how bad was this ?

I doubt Indians would be so stupid to deliberately fire the missile and then claim it as an accident. It jeopardises any credibility of the system specially as they hoping for potential sales of BrahMos.
Unless some rogue elements in India tried misadventure and authorities are trying to cover it up as a glitch.
this is what i posted earlier...post#1370 point 2.
a very serious development. an allegation that has been leveled against Pakistan since 1998.
The calmness on the face of DGISPR shows that the matter was raised and discussed with Indian authorities prior to the presser.

Do not correct a fool or he will hate you.
--- Correct a wise man and he will appreciate you.

Well while the theories of probing hold weight. Remember, india has sunk their submarines and frigates and burnt aircraft carriers all while performing “maintenance”.

So adding launching a missile to the long list of accolades is not out of the realm of possibilities.

What the hell is going on in India?
On a side note, WION and their ilk report every time a cat sneezes in Pakistan, but they seem to be oddly quite. Indians should really be ashamed of their media.

I know a lot has been speculated regarding the launch being a ruse to get Pakistan to open up its SOPs and radar tracks(which laughably those Indian “analysts” think look like the presentation) but the other aspect is that if it was indeed an accidental launch of an operational unit it gave away a method of launch and possible flight paths they could take to try and fool Pakistani air defenses.

In other words someone fired this by mistake with the actual operational flight path

Now even Imran Riaz Khan is saying that PAF shot it down...he said it TWICE! But alas, I can't change the minds of people with an inferiority complex who are hell bent on believing that their military leadership is inept...such a sad state of affairs for the lot of you...🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Pakistan track the incoming missile in to its territory but failed or just didn't want to destroy it as it was falling in deserted area .
Reason why it was not shot down might be Pakistan wanted it intact to examine it .

India lost its latest generation missile to Pakistan hopefully will help Pakistan like it has with Indian submarine data in future

I thought so too
I would guess that strategic systems are preogrammed with targets in case of war (which can be of course changed before/after launch). So the path that the Brahmos followed wasn't just some random path. It was the path preprogrammed into it. Just some speculation. Maybe it really was going for Shorkot.
